I have pictures that completely forgot to post from December 2023.
I made this backpack for a firefighter near Boston with his turnout coat. It was a surprise from his wife.
His wife told me that when he opened the package, he immediately emptied his old backpack and put everything in this one.
What a huge compliment!!

Thank you Calabash Fire Department for the donation of decommissioned turnout gear. I truly appreciate it. I see LOTS of bags made from this gear.
20 jackets, 11 pants, 3pc of Calabash USAR gear and 1pc that I'm not real sure what it was used for.
Look what I found as I was going through all of it. My honeybun's coat. It warmed my heart to find it. I know EXACTLY what I plan to make with it.

This is the first piece I have made that I have included Greg's OIBFD #1406. From this piece forward, each piece I make will include one of his numbers. I decided to do this so Greg is with every piece I make.
