Our mission at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center is to be the ultimate source for fishing in the Carolinas; providing the what, when, where and how-to you need to be a better fisherman. Our staff is made up of the most successful fishermen in the area who not only enjoy fishing, but also enjoy talking fish and helping you learn how to become a better fishermen. As stated by Capt. Brant and Capt. Barrett, "We're on the water almost everyday... its our job to know where the fish are... its our business to share that information with you." Cole putting in the work to catch a nice bull redfish. The beach has been thick with menhaden bait balls. Lighter north winds later this week should allow us more opportunities to get after them. Two little tips that might help some of you. Don’t throw your net into the wind! Pull up wind, let the wind push boat towards the bait, throw net with the wind. Witnessed several boats pulling up downwind throwing into the wind. Don’t work harder! Work smarter! Cut the tail off at least one bait. Bull reds are feeding on the left overs from blues, Spanish, and sharks. Let’s go! 803 315 3310

RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE UNOFFICIAL FINAL LEADERBOARD! NEVER READY and Captain Shannon Hollar held the lead with 41.8 lbs, followed by CLEARCUT with 41.63 lbs and, in third, weighing a 41.57 lb king on Day Two, TRADE MARK! METAL MAN grabbed the top Small Boat spot with a 28.11 lb king mackerel! Congratulations to all! We'll see you at the Awards Brunch in the morning!
