We did a drawing for an Okuma Alijos 12 king mackerel reel on a Okuma live bait rod so everyone in the tournament has a chance at winning a prize. The winner of that was Aaron Medlin Team Salty Southern.

NEW LEADER WITH ONE DAY TO GO!

Brad Harvey and Team 2 Bucks brought a 26.5 lb king and a 17 lb king to the scales today. Their 26.5-pounder now leads Big Fish Overall, and their 43.5 lb combined weight puts them on top of the 2 King Aggregate.

The leaderboard has been changing left and right, and there’s still one day left in the Mad Kingz Mackerel Bash. We can’t wait to see how the tournament finishes out tomorrow!

Good morning , hope everyone has had a great weekend! Finally the fishing is starting to pick up around here……The beaches are loaded with bait fish , catching flounder, redfish , and big blues so far, intercostal fishing is firing up 2… Offshore lots of kings and nice Spanish are being caught…. …We had another one of our great customers come in and weigh some fish this morning!!!He weighed in a 17.5lb king for the tournament, but didn’t get in the TWT and ended up with a 5lb Spanish….Love it, he was so mad at himself, lol….Still time to get in on this!!!!! From now till about late November some of the best fishing can be found right here in NC…. Come on in, we’ve got you covered !!!

Well we’re off and running! Who is it going to take the crown and the bragging rights home this year!!! The 3rd Annual Mad Kingz Mackeral Bash, is off and running. We are still taking sign ups if you want to get in , better late than never , it could be the last fish that makes the difference…. Tournament lasts all of September, and you get to declare your 2 days to fish…. The water is finally starting to cool a little and the fish are responding well, tons of bait in the water , and seeing a lot of fish being caught!!!! Today we weighed in our first 2 fish, Team Reel Smoke brought in a couple at 16.5lbs, and 20.5lbs , nice total of 37lbs for the first outing!!! Ricky Reeves and Tyler Andrew have made a mark, it’s your turn now !!!!! We’ve have everything you need here at the shop to go catch your monster ….. Hope to see you soon !!!!
