With the Backpack Bonanza complete for this year I would like to send a shout out to Donna and John from Poulsbo, Wa who sent us school supplies for the backpacks. They arrived Thursday and I did not have the opportunity to get a picture as the supplies were being picked up at the same time. Thank you, Donna and John, for your generous gift.

We just had a very nice visit from Maggie and Mark who live in the Snoqualmie Valley with a huge bag of items for the Backpack Bonanza. 2 backpacks, 2 water bottles, lots of crayons, markers and pencils as well as glue sticks and scissors. It warms my heart that people who do not live in the area have donated to the local school children, Maggie and Mark defiantly earned about a million Karma Points. Thank you so much !

We have received our first of what we hope are many donations for the Backpack Bonanza. These came from Lauri who is new to Ocean Shores and Melanie from Ocean Shores. If you would like to help the local school children and have something to donate, please stop in at Flying Cats, we will add your school supplies to our collection.
