Congratulations to our Artist of the Month, local author and artist Valerie Winn! You will often find Valerie visiting with customers in our gallery or walking the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs visiting with other small business owners. She recently released the final volume of the trilogy that began with “Forsaking Mimosa” and continued with “The Dance Between,” Valerie Winn’s “A Glaring Error” is ultimately a story of perception: how first impressions mislead, how inner worlds rarely mirror outer presentations, and how art, at its best, opens the eyes of the creator and the viewer. Valerie’s exhibit also includes hand painted whimsical bottles and a variety of prints.

Beyond the canvas, she is also a published author, having recently released “A Glaring Error.” The trilogy to her well loved novels “Forsaking Mimosa” and “The Dance Between.” What customers enjoy is that each novel stands alone to a reader. Thank you to the Mississippi and the Gulf Coast tourism associations for bringing our new friends in from the UK to interview popular local artist Stig Marcussen, as well as Gallery owner Linda Garbo Rosetti and local author/artist Valerie Winn on the incredible history of our 115 year-old historical home that houses over 45 talented artists creations. 🧑‍🎨🎨
