Kenneth Allen Wallace
11/02/1951 – 12/01/2023
It is with saddened disbelief of the passing of Kenneth Allen Wallace. For four years almost to the day, Kenny has fought to stay alive and work on the many things he had not completed in the more than 70 years of life. Once a person is given the sentence of ‘You have cancer’, their life seems to be at end – but not Kenny. Even with added words not only of cancer, but end stage renal disease, severe anemia, copd, and congestive heart disease – he took all those as a challenge to beat them, to give that ‘old devil one hell of a fight’. And that he did. He fought the fight until the very end, making calls to people to tie up loose ends on the day before his passing. He was so full of life in his mind and heart, yet his body was very tired. So determined to make certain his Pammer is taken care of. I am soo very blessed to have had him in my life all these years and soo very lost without him. Many thought of Kenny as a very nice, kind, humble man who was willing to help anyone needing help. That in which he was. It saddens me to know that there are some out there that took advantage of his kindness and caused him a lot of sadness in his heart on top of the distress he was fighting with all the disease in his body. To those - He wanted me to let you know he prayed for you and forgave you before he left this world- saying that he did not want to enter the gates of Heaven with a heavy heart holding a grudge - how so very brave and humble of him. But that was Kenny, that is the man we all came to love. Thank you to all of you that came to the hospital or made a phone call or text before his passing and shared a smile, a laugh, listened to one more joke, or prayed with us. You lighted his heart and made him feel special.
Kenny was previous owner of Lone Star Gasket and Supply for over 40 years. This was one of his proudest accomplishments in his life. He also had interest in a few other companies he began and put his heart into – Full Throttle Racing Collectibles, Ken’s Cool Cars and KAW Properties. He was an avid classic car collector building his dream with over 30 beautiful cars. A proud member of West Texas Street Rod Association and a sponsor of several drag cars and race boat.
Kenny Wallace passed from this life on December 01, 2023 to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and join several friends and family members. I can’t imagine the party going on up there!!!
