Another great 250th event in the books in Putnam County, NY. Met former Governor George Pataki, and yes I asked him to run again! Saw my sister there, that was very nice….and had a blast with my friends!

Great weekend in Putnam County, NY for a 250th event! My sister Mary Kaye came! So awesome to see her there! Also met the last great governor of NY, Governor George Pataki!! The 4th Light Dragoons - Moylan's Horse were His Excellency General Washington’s Life Guards detail.

Great day in the shop! A good friend of mine stopped by to make a horn and he brought his friend Shane, rising high school senior who made his first horn.

I think he did an awesome job and learned to use the lathe and other tools very fast!

Restoring out 1824 home built by Phineas Catlin Jr., cousin of fur trade artist George Catlin. Phineas was a veteran of the War of 1812, his father, Phineas Sr., was a Revolutionary War veteran.
