I write this post with mixed emotions. This will be the last writing from me as the Blue Willow. After 35 years of being in the retail business, my husband Bob and I are retiring. As sad as it is to leave our business and loyal staff which has been such a big part of our lives for so many years, we are happy to announce the opening of the Blue Whale Trading Company owned and operated by Lisa Bataran in the Blue Willow location.

We are happy to welcome Lisa , her husband Adam and family to Perkins Cove. Lisa is excited to bring her retail expertise to Perkins Cove, offering her personal touch to a wide variety of Home Decor, Clothing and Accessories, Hand Crafted Artwork, Jewelry, and much more.

Please stop in and say hello to Lisa and her daughter Adrianna who will be working with her and experience her lovely shop located in the most beautiful place by the sea.

Bob and I wish Lisa much success and Happiness in this new chapter of her life journey.
And to our valued customers, we leave you with the gift of gratitude for many unforgettable years of your continued patronage. We will miss you all, especially those who have become dear friends.

I heard it’s getting warmer in Maine so it’s time to head back to Blue Willow .
Bob and I will be arriving next Saturday.
I know we’ve had daily deliveries with lots of new product. And lots more to come. I’ll be posting pictures as soon as I get back
We have two new employees this year. So please welcome Ann and Debra. I’m sure they’ll be happy to assist you in any way possible.
You’ll also be seeing a lot more of a young man around the shop. Our son Rob will be there to help us out as we step back a bit. You have to admit 34 years is quite a long time to be in the retail business and we’re getting a little tired. But we’ll keep our hand in some of the ordering and running the business in general.
Hope to see our repeat customers and see some new faces as well very soon.

Happy Spring? I wonder when Mother Nature will cooperate just a little and make it feel more like SPRING!
Regardless, Blue Willow is open for business. Hours are 10-4 weather permitting. A little drizzle or light rain doesn’t stop us though!
Connie Punchard is a busy bee these days receiving boxes and boxes of merchandise , pricing, and displaying our many beautiful products this year. You’ll also see Brenda Goodale a few days a week and Diane Schneider will return mid May. We have kept our tried and true products because we know what you like and we want our customers happy!
But we have also added some fresh new product that we hope you’ll enjoy. Of course we’ll have one of your favorites, our “Noelle “ clothing line 😃 along with a few new surprises.
I hope you all had a good and healthy winter. Bob and I will be back in Ogunquit early June. So I hope to see all my favorite customers again this season. As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to a great season. See you soon.

Happy Summer!! dear friends and loyal customers!!!
I feel really badly about not keeping up with my posts. And I apologize for that. We just have so busy with trying to update and renovate the shop this year that I literally haven't had the time to sit for a moment and write to you all.

But I promise that will change. I'll make a concerted effort to be better at my communication and pictures of our latest product.

I was at the shop early this morning walking the beach about 6 a.m. and low and behold, all my friends were there. The tide was coming in and it was a typical foggy Maine morning.Later in the day, the sun came out. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Happy Spring Everyone 🌸🌸
Oooops! Maybe not, considering the snowfall yesterday.
Well, it won't stop Blue Willow. It may be a bit chilly but we're open for business. Every day weather permitting 10-4ish.
We're receiving boxes and boxes of product every day so the store is starting to look full again.
Connie, Sue, Brenda, and Diane will be there to greet you for our 33rd season.
Yes, 33 years in Perkins Cove with our 3,500 sq. ft. Shop directly on the beautiful ocean.
We are looking forward to seeing our faithful customers and also meeting new friends.

Hi Everyone!
How did March get here so quickly?
Oh my goodness, we're already getting ready for another season, our 33rd……We open our doors on April 1st.
Just so you know, we don't just sit back and forget about Blue Willow all winter. Actually it's a a very busy time for us. We are always looking for new product and placing orders to be ready for April, May and June delivery. We have great things in store for you, our valued customers again this season.

We have found some new items we know you'll love and of course we'll bring back your favorites. If you haven't tried our Goat milk products, you must. Our customers return year after year to get their supply. Other favorites include the "KELLER CHARLES" line, a beautifully made melamine with many different styles and patterns; "MICHEL" offers bath and personal products with beautiful packaging and outstanding scents; LIZ ARTS" has been a huge hit with hand made frames capturing the essence of the sea, the designs made with all natural sea forms: "NOELLE" our boutique fashion line has become our number one, featuring their gorgeous and fashionable handbags, a beautiful line of clothing, scarves, and fun wear as well.

If you haven't visited our 3,500 square foot shop, you will be pleasantly surprised by the best selection of home decor and accessories retail shop in Perkins Cove and Ogunquit. Please stop by and I know you'll enjoy the large variety and well displayed retail items we sell.

How could I be so neglectful and not write sooner? Wellll, it's right smack in the middle of the season, and we've been so busy, I admit I've forgotten about it.
It's been so nice seeing all of our repeat customers and meeting some new ones.
The shop is chock a block full and we're all busy keeping it that way just for you.
I'd like a little feedback from all of you. I've had quite a few requests for an on line store.
So we're thinking about starting a web site and selling some of our more popular items on line. Could you please drop me a few words with your thoughts about it.
We'd really appreciate your feedback.

Happy Patriots Day!!!
Wow, I heard Ogunquit is really busy this weekend with all kinds of activities.

Well we're ready at Blue Willow for the season to get underway.
Just the other day we got 27 boxes of merchandise in. Connie says" here we go, it's started!!!"
But we're looking forward to a great season and seeing all our old friends and making new ones.
Diane will be back in a few weeks but Connie, Sue, and Brenda are always there to greet you and show off our newest product.

Believe it or not, our most popular line " Noelle" is not only in the shop with a gorgeous new color palet, but we were only open barely two weeks when we had to place a reorder. I'm not complaining though. We're gearing up for a strong season and filling the shop with new and exciting product every day.

So come on down to Perkins Cove and visit the Blue Willow. We have wonderful useful items for you and the best view in the cove.
