October 14th marks the 12th annual Petal It Forward event! This is an initiative organized by the Society of American Florists and held annually for goodwill and mental wellness. Florists all over the country take this day to participate in spreading happiness to those around them.
Oil City Floral Design participates in this event every year and this year we were asked to team up with them to help spread the joy! Research shows that giving and receiving flowers has immediate and long-term effects on moods and happiness.
So here’s how it works. Stop by any of the locations listed on the flyer, take two bouquets, keep one for yourself to enjoy, and give the other one away! It could be a coworker, family member, friend, neighbor, or even a complete stranger. Help us spread some kindness!
