The Valley Art Festival and Studio Tour starts tomorrow, and we’re bringing our w**e barrel art along for the ride.

On Labor Day weekend, local artists around Chama, New Mexico open their studio doors to visitors for the studio tour while other local artists display and sell their work throughout the village for the Chama Valley Arts Fest.

The name felt fitting: pieces from different places, colors, and moments coming together to create something completely its own.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE CREATIVITY!

As promised, here’s a closer look at some of the pillows created by the talented kids at Española Valley Fiber Arts Center Summer Kids Camp.

I loved seeing how each camper chose their fabrics, colors, and details to make something completely their own. No two pillows are alike—and that’s my favorite part.

They did such a great job, and I hope they’re as proud of their creations as I am of them!

During Española Valley Fiber Arts Center Summer Kids Camp, we turned fabric, creativity, and a whole lot of personality into pillows the kids could actually take home.

Every pillow was different—which is exactly how it should be.

It was such a pleasure sharing my love of fiber art with these kids. They jumped in, got creative, and did an amazing job. I loved seeing their personalities come through in every pillow.
