Before you hit the road, take a few minutes to check your bike. A little preparation can make a much better ride!

1. Check Your Tire Pressure
Proper tire pressure makes a huge difference in comfort, handling, and preventing flats.

2. Test Your Brakes
Give both brakes a quick check before heading out. If they feel weak, spongy, or unusual, it's time for a tune-up.

3. Check Your Chain
A dry, dirty, or rusty chain can make your ride harder and cause unnecessary wear on your drivetrain.

4. Make Sure Your Seat Is Adjusted Correctly
The right saddle height can improve comfort, efficiency, and help prevent aches and pains.

5. Bring the Essentials
Even on a short ride, consider bringing water, a spare tube or repair kit, and a way to inflate your tire.
