One of the most difficult parts of my injury has been the loss of dexterity in my dominant hand. I couldn’t even write legibly for a long long while! Nevermind doing artwork like painting or metalwork! Anything that involved my hands being steady or having to actually grip onto something has been a frustrating disappointment. That’s why I’m SO PROUD to have finished this little diorama!! It took me so long and there’s a bazillion messy mistakes in there, but I did it, and that’s one (giant) step closer to me being able to do my regular artwork and run my business again.

Each piece was made individually, which you can kinda see in the last few pictures. Lamps and coffee pots made from different beads, the white chairs were made from one long 4’ piece of wire, the cabinets and wooden chairs built from small pieces of wood, all sprinkles cut from fruit tubes....everything made piece by piece, one by one. It’s a music box and all the led lights work! Shoot me a DM if you like it! 🥰
