Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to remind you that tomorrow (Monday August 6th) is the last day of the Our Villa Dolls Downsizing Sale. If you need molds, supplies, doll clothes, everything and anything for dolls and chinapainting, this is your last chance before I move out of the storefront. Molds will be a dollar each or lower, and believe me, there are a lot left. We will be here from 10am until 8pm, so come by. I am sure you will find something you can’t live without.

Hi Everyone,
After a lot of thought and prayer, I have decided to no longer have a storefront for Our Villa Dolls. I will be moving the shop to my house. It has been a difficult decision, but since I am teaching Middle-School Science full-time there were not enough hours in the day. By streamlining things, I will be able to still do what I love by having classes, seminars, pouring and doing restorations, but I won’t have the expense of a storefront. Our Villa Dolls isn’t going away, just scaling back.

The boys are coming the end of July to start the packing and sorting process, with our final week being August 5th-10th. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to move everything to my garage—LOL. I have lots of stuff, so this will be one heck of a “Christmas in July Sale”. If you are needing shelving, display cases, dolls, molds, everything and anything related to dolls, come by and take a look. I will make good deals, because I want everything to go to a good home.

The shop will run as usual, with Sue Mitchell’s seminar, July 31-Aug.2nd and the Expo 2018 Doll Show August 4th .

As I sit here and write this I am tearing up. It has been a wonderful 26 year run. I have met hundreds of great people throughout the years, some that are no longer with us, many that have become friends, but all that share the true passion of dolls and dollmaking. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you. You are why I continue to do this.

As I said though, I will continue just on a smaller scale. I am planning, if I can, on keeping the same phone number. I will still be having classes and filling orders, but it will take me a little bit to get set up and reorganized, so watch for e-mails with all the details.

If you have any class projects and haven’t been to class recently, or have things on consignment please get with me before the 26th to pick them up. I will have ads that will be running, but wanted everyone first shot at getting what they want. We have been in this location since1995 so you can imagine how much there is.

Hi Everyone,
Don’t forget our Mini Expo Doll show is this Saturday. Vendors and competition will be at the Spencer’s Event Center. I will also be having a big sale here at Our Villa Dolls as well, so check out both places. We will have a dolly luncheon at noon so come and join us at Spencer’s BB-Q for fellowship, fun, and good food. It will be an ala carte menu.

If you wish to enter a doll for competition, you can do so from 6pm-8pm on Thurs. August 3rd at Our Villa Dolls, or Friday from 9am-3pm. Even if you have entered a doll before, or just want to share, you can also bring a doll to put on our “Favorites” table. This table will be just for show, not for judging.

We will also have lots of Helper’s gifts that you can buy tickets for.

Sue Mitchell is also having a skin wig class from 9am-11am. She only has a couple of spots left, so let me know if you are interested ASAP!

The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so come spend the day with friends, or make some new ones!

Hi Everyone,
I hope that you are having a great March. I just wanted to let you know that I am having a fantastic Spring Cleaning Sale this Wednesday(March 15) through Saturday(March 18). I am downsizing a lot of my molds, so if you have a mold wish list, send it to me and I will e-mail you the availability, and sale prices. The prices will depend on mold condition, etc. I will also have a group of molds for only $5 each if you want to stop by the shop for a look. I will be glad to ship molds, but shipping will be extra.

Everything else will be on sale as well from 20%-50% unless already specially priced.

I am on Spring Break, so I will be here from 10am-5pm Wed. and Fri., 10am-8pm Thurs., and 10am-2pm Sat. If you need to come earlier or later on any of those days just let me know and I will be here.

We are working on our 2016 Mini-Expo. Some of the vendors joining us will be Lorna Yates from Lorna's Loveable Dolls, and Rubie Schroeder from Forget-Me-Knot Dolls. These are just 2 of the great vendors we will have this year. Also when you come to the show, stop by the shop for lots of doll goodies and sale items--we are just 2 doors down from the Spencer's Event Center.

Let me know if you need to bring your competition enter on Thursday August 11th. I will be here at the shop to take entries from 6pm-8pm.

Hi Everyone,
It has been a while since I posted. I hope to be better at doing that. There a lot of new, fun things happening at the shop. For starters our World Doll Day Tea is this Saturday June 4th from 10am-2pm. Come spend the day with all your dolly friends. We will have a Make-and-take, Refreshments, a drawing for free greenware, and best yet a store-wide sale. Let me know if you didn't receive this month's newsletter and I will be happy to e-mail it to you. Also we will be having a Mini Expo Doll Show this year in August. Check the website for details.
