We will be at the New World Comic Con this Saturday, 7/29. It's in the Centennial Building at the State Fairgrounds. Lots of comics, pops, artists, panels, etc. Admission is $6. Come out and have a good time!

I had an idea a while back for a piece of artwork. I wanted Spider-Man reading a Batman comic and getting busted by Bats, himself. I asked Jerry Bennett to do it and he loved the idea. When it was done my son-in-law, Brian, said now I needed to reverse the roles! It made sense and Jerry was happy to do another. I think Jerry was in my head (scary place) because he perfectly nailed what I had envisioned. Awesome job Jerry! Thanks, bro. They were worth every penny and the burger and fries!

SoonerCon was a good time, as expected. I got to meet Timothy Zahn and he was kind enough to sign my Thrawn pop. I asked him if he had a favorite book among the ones he brought and he quickly said The Icarus Hunt. Of course I purchased it and got another sig. Two chapters in and I'm already loving it. He said it's a fun book and I must agree! Thanks to Mr. Zahn for being so kind and approachable!

Upcoming shows: Hot Wheels show on March 5 from 9 am to approx. 3 pm at the Crown Center on S. Western in Moore.
Dallas Comic Con, June 3-5 at the Dallas Convention Center.
River City Comic Expo, June 11-12 at the Statehouse Convention Center, Little Rock. We'll probably also hit the Tulsa Flea Market sometime between now and then as well.

I've been falling behind with updates to this page. Yes, I'm lazy when it comes to facebook. Quick updates on previous show activity: We did Dallas Comic Con Fan Days in October and it was great, as usual. Next was OafCon and it was a blast. It's not a big show, but wow at the stuff you can see and buy! My favorite. We set up at the Amazing Oklahoma City Comic Con in November. Sadly it was a bit of a let down but, hey, it was their first attempt! Hoping for more attendees next year and less expensive booth space. We'll see.
