We kicked things off with a few shots from Jared last week, but Alex came back with a camera roll that deserves some attention of its own. 😎

One of our favorite things about Cars & Coffee is that two people can walk the exact same event and come back with completely different highlights. There’s always something you missed the first time around.

Our own Alex has been pouring his time and passion into this race bike, and seeing it finally come to life is something we’re incredibly excited about. This weekend, it’ll make its competition debut after months of hard work, problem-solving, and determination.

We’ve been kicking around an idea with our Parts Manager, Nicole, and we think it’s one the local riding community will love.

A community motorcycle Swap Meet.

A place to buy, sell, trade, and talk motorcycles. Whether you’ve got parts collecting dust in the garage, riding gear you’ve outgrown, or you’re just looking to spend a day with fellow enthusiasts, we’d love to bring everyone together.

For now, we’re asking you to save the date while we put the finishing touches on the event. We’ll share all the details - including times, how to participate, and what to expect - as soon as everything is finalized.

The Motorcycle Technique Almost Every Rider Uses…Without Realizing It 🤔🏍

Most riders have heard the term counter steering, but it's often explained as simply "push right, go right."
The reality is a little more interesting.

At road speeds, a motorcycle doesn't change direction because the handlebars are pointed into the corner. A brief steering input initiates a lean, and it's that lean -working with your tires' contact patches - that creates the cornering forces needed to turn.

It's also why two motorcycles can feel completely different in the same corner.

A few factors that influence steering response include:
🏍️ Tire profile and construction
🏍️ Suspension setup and rider sag
🏍️ Weight distribution and luggage
🏍️ Steering geometry
🏍️ Speed and rider inputs

Understanding these dynamics won't magically make someone a faster rider, but it can make them a smoother, more confident one. It also helps explain why something as simple as a new set of tires or a suspension adjustment can completely change how a motorcycle feels.

Whether you ride a BMW, Ducati, Royal Enfield, or another machine, there's always something new to learn about the engineering beneath you.
