Random post in reference to a rat snake that took the liberty of indulging in eggs from the chicken house. This fu**er helped himself (pronoun assumed) to no less than three eggs.

The issue is our chickens provide eggs to our household but also provide excess, which amounts to eggs for my coworkers and friends.

I appreciate the rodent control services of rat snakes, however, I implore any and all resident rat snakes to stay the f**k out of the nesting boxes.

Brut de forge 80crv2 skinner with local walnut scales and hand crafted leather sheath. Just in time for deer season.

It's beefy but it's convex edge and sharp.

Available at www.killcreekknives.com as soon as I can get the website updated.

Most of the blades I'll have at my booth this Saturday in De Soto. I have another Precept that's paracord wrapped handle and a forged harrow spike knife paracord wrapped handle that still need sheaths made.

From left to right 3 Precepts of variance, the can opener karambit, harrow spike forged out to a boot knife/spike, a forged 80crv2 skinner, and a farrier rasp camp kitchen knife.

The leather work is solid. All of the clips are products.

The forge toad. I've had to chase him out of the forge on more than one occasion to avoid a roasted toad incident.

Quite the large fellow. Assuming he's male. Not human adverse, knows how to avoid the dogs, and helps keep the shed "bug free".

He isn't any help with the spiders or wasps but frankly, the spiders leave me alone and I reciprocate. The wasps are easy enough to convince to leave with out blood shed.

While some might see him as yucky or gross, I count him amongst my friends and value his presence.

The "Can Opener" is complete. 1084 steel with a can opener grind is a single purpose tiny sized karambit. It's basically a last ditch weapon/gun retention tool intended for front pocket support side carry.

The small size and tight curve is meant to be useful in clinching and grappling situations when someone is latched onto your kit.

It's just sharp enough to do what it needs to do but everything should be slick enough to assist with withdrawal from clothing. In my classes I instruct I suggest targeting less lethal locations, elbow area and shoulder area, no only for less lethal benefits but for the purposes of anatomical compliance.

It is Caswell finish, high carbon steel, so it'll want to be cared for appropriately. Black Micarta and brass tubes.

Kydex sheath with positive retention so you won't lose it in a foot chase but it will come out to work when you want it to. clip (love them). If you want a deeper seat into the pocket you can get a longer clip. The one on there now is more the middle length.

I'll get it on my website at some point or HMU. It needs to find the right home.

Oh, Spyderco Karahawk depicted for size comparison.

I am a man of my word.

My paracord bracelet instructions are posted in PDF at www.killcreekknives.com/paracord effective immediately. This is open source and completely free. I want it that way.

I have created kits and I am selling them. I do this as a service for those who don't want to purchase the supplies independently. The cost is front to back and includes shipping. I think I'm being reasonable. If not, I accept criticism pretty well most of the time.

The goal isn't to sell kits but instead to disseminate the information. Maybe it will help someone in their time of need. And maybe others will also share knowledge more freely. Maybe it will inspire or give a little confidence to some who needed the stimulus to seek growth. To make themselves safer. To assume responsibility for their own well being.

I don't know. But I'm a glass half full kinda dude.

But, please check the instructions out. Make one for yourself. And whatever slick mods or changes you come up with in your expression of creation.... Share with the rest of us so we can grow too!

I'd like feedback. I've got some minds I respect reviewing the instructions, but nonetheless I'll listen if someone has something to say.

Knowledge is power. Self reliance is essential. Survival is a skill. And as always, train.

Shout out to my wife who is a graphics design guru and I wouldn't have a PDF nor a website without her!
