Just this week for recycle/landfill. (We have a gentleman that strips what he can for recycle and the rest end up in our landfills.

20 vacuums: 14 bagless ans 6 bagged
Bagless:
3 Dyson
4 Shark
4 Bissell
3 Hoover bagless/carpet cleaner
1 VacuFlo Cvac (1974)
Bagged:
1 Kirby Ledgend (1990)
1 Riccar (2000)
2 Orecks (cleaning lady said they were 3 years old)
1 Hoover Power Plus
1 Hoover Futura (not sure the age of the last two. The gal that brought them in said these belonged to my 92 year old grandmother and she said they don’t work and we thought you could get rid of them for us)

More and more things fill our landfills/day and in a week the amount of 2-15 year old bagless vacuums double to the 30-40 year old bagged vacuums!!!

What does this tell you...Bagged vacuums last longer and will end up in our landfills at a later period of time than a bagless vacuum.

Friendly reminder to flip your vacuum over and give it a little TLC ❤️

•Is the brush roll dirty?
•Are the bristles missing or flattened out?
•Is it maybe time for a new belt?
•Has it been more than two years since you brought it in for a complete overhaul? If so, I would get to Ervs Vacuums and get your vacuum checked in so that we can check it out. ✅
