As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to open a small store like the ones that I would visit as a kid. My Mom and Dad owned and ran a small grocery store when I was a child in East Tennessee. I would go to the store when I wasn't in school and help them every chance I got. Well, helping them meant that I would sit in the counter and look the jars of candy that they would have for their
customers. It was always enjoyable to watch the smiling faces of their customers, especially when the bought candy and chocolates. After they would close the store we would travel to Elizabethton, TN to Mr. Murray's candy store. I would always leave with a bag of candy and a smile on my face. Now that I've opened my own store, I hope to provide the same enjoyable experience to my customers.
