Good morning high tide today is 11:52 a.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Doc and Dine restaurant area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the Old Saybrook Point tied. We open at 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies. Just seems to be a little more stripers action going on in and outside the river only to get better as we get deeper in the fall for the big ball run. Fresh or frozen bunker blue mackerel hearing or squid all great bait for the striper bass and the blue fish. Well the blue fish I think you have to go to the rates or the gut. For some fluke still a lot of shorts black point 90 plus feet of water Hatchet White Sands Soundview long sand Shoal. Smelt squid shiners sand eels mummy chubs if you can find them or your artificial gulp. For the sea bass still same lot of shorts terrible year for sea bass and fluke seems to be so many shorts around and with the gas prices it makes business slow. But you can go to Six Mile Southwest the ruins the middle grounds south side of fishers. Clam squid sandworms even shiners or green crabs.. but there are plenty of porgies hatchets cranes Bartlett even in the river at times around Dock and dime for any muscle bed or rocky area you may know. Sandworms clams or squid. For the Snapper Blues The Causeway the North Cove the boat launch. Lieutenant River black Haw River Snapper poppers or a bobber and a shiner. For the blue crab Causeway Oyster River North Cove the boat launch Lieutenant River Black Haw River. Chicken or any dead fish you may have. Please remember they have to be 5 in unless it's a soft shell and throwback females with eggs I. Sometimes it don't matter what you catch it's that quality time and the memory you make with your family or your friends just being together with family making memories is the best part because memories live forever. Catching fish and crab it's only a bonus for the memory. We open at 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies. Like I've been saying the striper bass and Bluefish fishing it slow in and outside the river unless you go to the gut or the race. Fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid and herring all great bait for the stripers and Bluefish. For your fluke still a lot of shorts like all summer long and you have to deal with the dog fish and a sea robin and the brown shark but there are Keepers there if you keep plugging away. Black Point 90 plus feet of water hatchets sound View long sand Shoal even a Connecticut River. From The Causeway to the train bridge. Smelts squid shiners Sand eels mummy chubs or your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass same scenario lot of shorts 6 Mile 80 to 100 ft of water the middle grounds the ruins Southwest Reef south side of fishers. Clam squid and sandworm you can even use green crabs and shiners.. there are still plenty of porgies around on all your reefs like hatchets bartletts cranes even in Connecticut River around the dock and dine area on incoming and high tide.. clam squid or sandworms. For the Snapper Blues The Causeway the boat launch Lieutenant River Snapper poppers or a bobber and a shiner. the blue crabs The Causeway North Cove the boat launch Essex town dock Lieutenant river blackhaw river. Chicken or any dead fish you may have. But remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and a memory if you make with your family or your friends that my friend is the best part being with family and making memories because memories live forever catching a fish or some crabs it's only a bonus for the memory. And taking our young kids out and teaching them the art of fishing and crabbing it's something they can have for a lifetime. Smelt squid shiners sand eels or your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass still a lot of shorts six mile 80 to 100 ft of water the middle grounds South West Reef hatchets or it's outside of Fishers. Squid clams sand worms even shiners or green crabs. There is still plenty oh porgy's around Patrick's bartletts cranes even the Connecticut River around Dock and dine on incoming tide. For the blue crabs The Causeway the North Cove the boat launch Essex town dock Lieutenant River blackhaw river. Chicken or any dead fish you may have. For the Snapper Blues Causeway Dock and dine the North Cove Lieutenant River Snapper poppers or a bobber and a shiner or a cast master. Good morning high tide today is 9:31 a.m. and 9:58 p.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River. Like the causeway, the old Dock and Dine restaurant area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge. Your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the Old Saybrook Point tide. Striper and blue fish bite is very slow in and outside the river but there's still some hanging around the train bridge and up River by Essex. But there's no bunker to be found in the river. Lots of peanut bunker. But you can still use the fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid and hearing. Also sand worms with the tube in worm or umbrella rings. For the fluke still a lot of shorts but there were some Keepers caught at Black Point around 100 ft of water you can also go to hatchets Soundview white sand long sand Shoal even the Connecticut River from the causeway to the train bridge my friend caught one from Dock and dine but it was a short one. Fluke shiners smelt squid sand eels mummy chubs your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass same scenario a lot of shorts Six Mile 80 to 100 ft of water the middle grounds Southwest Reef hatchets south side of Fishers. Squid clams sand worms even shiners or green crabs. There are plenty of porgies around on all your reefs like hatchets bartletts Southwest even and the Connecticut River by Dock and dine on incoming tide and high. Clam squid or sandworms. the Snapper Blues Causeway, Dock and dine the North Cove the boat launch Lieutenant River. Snapper popper or a bobber and a shiner. For the blue crabs plenty of them around the causeway, North Cove, the boat launch, Essex town dock, Lieutenant River Black Haw River. Chicken or any dead fish you may have anything stinky. Please remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and the memory if you make with your family or your friend. That my friend is the best part being together with family and making memories and teaching our young children the sport of fishing and crabbing Ain't Nothing Better than them memory because the memories live forever. Catching crabs and fish is the extra bonus for the memory and that's why we call it fishing and not catching. Good morning another weekend in the books and a lot of memories were made. And that's what it's all about. Today's high tides 8:39 a.m. and 909 p.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Dock and Dine restaurant area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later then the Old Saybrook Point tied. We open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies. Well the striper fishing at slow down drastically there's no bait around it seems due as disappeared I don't know if the sharks have anything to do with it but that's why we call it fishing and not catching. And I know they're still stripers in and outside the river we just got to find them. Fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid hearing a great bait for the striped bass and blue fish. The blue fish you have to go to the race or the gut but there was some action down by cornfield. For the fluke Black Point hatchets sound View long sand Shoal even a Connecticut River. Smelt squid shiners sand eels or your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass Southwest 6 Mile the ruins south side of fishers clams squid sandworms even green crabs and shiners. For the porgies hatchets cranes bartletts even Dunkin' dime my friend was there yesterday he did get some along with a small fluke. For the Snappers The Causeway Doc in dine the boat launch Lieutenant River and black Haw River. Snapper poppers or a bobber and a shiner. For the blue crabs The Causeway the North Cove the boat launch Essex town dock Lieutenant River black Hall River. Chicken or any dead fish you may have. Good morning high tide today is 7:45 a.m. 8:18 p.m. this is our Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Dock and Dine restaurant area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge. Your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the old Saybrook Point tide. We open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies. Well the striper bite and the blue fish have become spotty they're still in the river I think they went up River chasing a bunker because there's no bait down by the bridges. Or the sharks could have chased all the bait and scattered all the other fish. But they are catching them still you just got to keep plugging away and hope for the best. Fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid hearing all great bait for the stripers and blue fish. For the fluke Black Point 90 plus feet of water hatchets Soundview white sand long sand Shoal. You can even get them in the river but on the weekend and holidays it's hard with the boat traffic. Smelt squid Sand eels fluke shiners mummy chubs if you can find them or your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass still a lot of shorts everywhere unless you going to like New York Waters or South side of fishers for the middle grounds you have a chance to get some nice keepers. But you can still go to 6 Mile or Southwest Reef. Clam squid sandworms shiners even green crabs. Porgy still your best bet if you want them Hatchet cranes Bartlett even in the Connecticut River at time around the dock and dine area. Or any Rocky or muscle bed area you may know. Clam squid or sandworm. The Snapper Blues The Causeway North Cove boat launch Lieutenant River. Snapper poppers or a bobber and shiner. For the blue crabs The Causeway North Cove boat launch black Haw River Lieutenant River. Chicken or any bait like bunker or mackerel. Just remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and the memory if you make with your family or your friends that my friend is the best part deal with family and making memories because memories live forever. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Dock and dine restaurant area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the old Saybrook Point tied. We open at 5:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies. First of all I have to say the bunker has disappeared. But the stripers and the blue fish are still in the river and outside the river. Bunker mackerel squid hearing all great bait for the Bass and the blue fish. For the fluke still shorts with a few Keepers mixed in they have to work for them. Smelt squid shiners sand eel or your artificial bait gulp. For the sea bass what a terrible year for them to tons of shorts but we have to fish and keep plugging away to get our meal. Six Mile hundred plus feet of water Southwest the wrecks south side of fishers. Clam squid sandworms even green crabs and shiners. For the porgies seem to been here all summer long and still here and all your reefs hatchets cranes Bartlett even at back in time at times around high tide. Clam squid or sandworms. But there are plenty of blue crabs around the boat launch Essex town dock Lieutenant River blackhaw river. Even the causeway and North Cove. Chicken or any dead fish you may have. For the Snapper Blues The Causeway boat launch dock Lieutenant River black Haw River. Snapper poppers or a bobber and a shiner. But please remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and the memories you make with your family and your friend being with family having laps and a good time and being together that's all you really need and the memories that come from that last forever. We open at 5:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing bait and supplies. Well they'll still time to catch your stripers and your blue fish in and outside the river. Fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid hearing. Or you control tube and worm or umbrella rigs. For your fluke black point 80 to 100 ft of water hatchets Soundview white sand long sand Shoal even in the river but the river is hard to do on the weekend with all the boat traffic. For your sea bass what a terrible year everything you seem to catch is short but you have to keep trying. 6 Mile 80 to 100 ft of water Southwest Reef the middle ground or it's outside of fishers. Clam squid sand worms even green crabs and shiners also work for the sea bass. For the porgies they seem to be on any Reef you go to or rocky or muscle bed areas. Clam squid sand ones.
