Good morning high tide today is 8:12 a.m. and 8:27 p.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Doc and Dine restaurant area for the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the Old Saybrook Point tide. We open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies we all still do fishing licenses. Well there were some stripers at the causeway yesterday chasing the bunker and also outside the river. Fresh or Frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid hearing sandworms all great bait for the striped bass. You can also do some trolling tube and worm or umbrella rigs. For the sea bass still slow picking up a little bit outside 6 Mile between 80 and 90 ft of water and the rooms and middle ground. Clams squid and worms shiners or even green crabs. For the porgies Hatchet cranes Bartlett sandworms clams or squid even Nightcrawler. From sure you got Harkness or Fort Trumbull. For the fluke Black Point 90 plus feet of water hatchets Soundview and long sand Shoal. Smelt squid fluke shiners sand eels mummy chugs if you can find them or the artificial bait gulp. For the blue crabs still hard to come by you can try to Causeway the dock at the boat launch Essex town dock Oyster River Lieutenant River or black Haw River. Chicken or any dead bait like bunker or mackerel Blackfish opens up again on the 1st to fish I'm working on green crabs. I will post when I get them or I know. And remember it's not what we always catch it's that quality time and the memories we make with our family or our friends that my friend is the best part being together with family and making memories because memories live forever. Good morning high tide today is 7:19 a.m. 741 p.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing the lower part of the Connecticut River like The Causeway the old Dock and dime area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the Old Saybrook Point tied. We open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies we also do fishing licenses and hunting. Well after all that rain the river is a chocolate mess it's still a few stripers in the river you may have to go out find the end of the chocolate water we'll know that answer more today. Fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid herring sandworms all great bait with a striped bass you can also troll tube and worm or umbrella rigs and Niner rigs. For the Seabass they're starting to pick up more and more everyday as the water temperature still rises outside 6 Mile 80 to 90 plus feet of water or the middle grounds. Clams squared sandworms shiners even green crabs. For the porgies they're also starting to get better and better every day at hatchets bartletts cranes hens and chickens clams squid sandworms even nightcrawlers. the fluke still lot of shorts around here you might have to go across to Montauk Oregon point or Isabella Beach but you can go to Black Point Hatchet Soundview White Sands long sand Shoal and try your luck at them spots smelt fluke shiners squid Sand eels mummy chubs if you can find them or your artificial bait gulp. Blue Crabs has been terrible so far I believe with all that rain and dirty water make it even worse but we still got time all summer to get them crabs but you can try to Causeway the black Haw River Oyster River Lieutenant River where the pier at the boat launch in Essex downtown dock chicken or any dead bait like bunker or mackerel. Sometimes when the river gets like this you catch more freshwater fish than you do saltwater fish my catfish eels white perch. That's why we call it fishing and not catching but remember not what we catch anyway it's that quality time and a memories we make with our family or our friends that my friend is the best part being with family and making memories because memories live forever. And teaching our young kids the sport of fishing. That sometimes we catch him sometimes we may not but we just got to keep going and sticking to it. Good morning your high tides today are 6:18 a.m. and 651 p.m. this is our Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Dock and dine area or the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later depend on where you're fishing or crabbing. For instance high tide at the causeway would be 633 a.m.. we open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies we also do fishing and hunting licenses. Well the slow day in the shop yesterday but still a few people ventured out and got a few stripers down by Dock and dine on Fresh bunker. We do have fresh bunker and live eels and stock along with mackerel squid sand worms all Great Bay for the striped bass. For the sea bass starting to pick up more and more every day there are still scattered they got some nice ones outside six mile 80 to 90 ft of water and the middle grounds. Clam squid sandworms shiners even green crabs. For the porgies they are also getting better Hatchet cranes Bartlett. I'm sure you can go to Harkness or Truman. Clams Squid and sandworms. For the fluke a lot of short still with a few Keepers mixed in Black Point 80 to 90 ft of water Sound View long sand Shoal you can even try to Connecticut River. Smelt fluke shiners squid sand eels or your artificial bait gulp. Still not a good reporter Blue Crabs yet some people have tried most truck out a lot of shorts The Causeway the boat launch Essex town dock black Haw River Oyster River. Lieutenant River. Chicken or any dead bait like bunker or mackerel. Still a few catfish around chunks of Bunker or nightcrawlers. All in all it average fishing I would say but remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and the memories you make with your family and your friends being together with family and making memories is the best part of all because memories live forever catching fish and crabs is only a bonus. Good morning high tide today is 5:14 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. this is at Old Saybrook Point. For those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old doc and Dine restaurant area for the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later depending on where you're fishing or crabbing. Well it was another good weekend in the book Saturday you're blue yesterday was beautiful a lot of people ventured out yesterday a lot of nice fish were caught some did good other just had a good time and made memories. We open at 6:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and grabbing Bates and supplies. We also do fishing and hunting license. Well the striper bite is still pretty good in and outside the river fresh or frozen bunker live eels mackerel squid hearing and sandworms. Can also do some trolling tube and worm umbrella rigs and niner rigs. We do have plenty of fresh bunker and live eels in stock. For the Seabass getting better everyday my friend went out yesterday and they limited out but it was hard they put many hours and moved quite a few times they started at 6 Mile and ended up in the middle ground 80 plus feet of water clams squid sandworms green crabs and shiners. For the porgies Hatchet crane Bartlett sandworms clam squid. For the fluke a lot of short fluke around. Smelt flute shiners squid Sand eels or your artificial bait gulp. For the blue crabs The Causeway the boat launch dock Essex town dock Oyster River black Haw River Lieutenant River. Still no good signs of them yet a few Keepers were caught at the causeway. Chicken or any dead bait like bunker or mackerel. But remember it's not what we always catch it's that quality time and the memories you make with your family or your friends that my friend is the best part being with family and making memories because memories live forever. Good morning Happy Father's Day to all your dad's and to all your moms that play the dad's roll high tide today is 4:15 a.m. and 4:55 p.m. this is our Old Saybrook Point for those of you who may be fishing or crabbing the lower part of the Connecticut River like the causeway, the old Dock and Dine restaurant area for the pier at the boat launch in Old Saybrook under the Baldwin Bridge your high tide is approximately 15 minutes to a half hour later than the Old Saybrook Point tide. We open at 5:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. tonight for all your fishing and crabbing baits and supplies we also do fishing licenses and that boat permit. Well they're still getting stripers inside and outside the river. Hatchets cornfield long sand Shoal lives eels fresh bunker or Frozen mackerel squid and hearing and sandworms all great bait for the striped bass. You can also troll tube and warm and umbrella rigs and niner rigs. For the sea bass Six Mile 90 plus feet of water the middle ground clam squid sandworms shiners even green crabs. For the porgies hatchets cranes bartletts Harkness from Shore sand worms clam squid even nightcrawlers. For the fluke a lot of shorts around here black point 80 to 90 ft of water hatchets Soundview long sand Shoal or you can go across to Montauk Orient Point or Isabella Beach and outside misquamica Beach. Smelt fluke shiners sand eels squid mummy chubs if you can find them or your artificial bait gulp. The blue crabs still slow on them only a few were caught and some small ones The Causeway the doc at the boat launch Essex town dock black Hall River Oyster River chicken or any dead bait like bunker or mackerel. All in all the average fishing but remember it's not what you always catch it's that quality time and the memory if you make with your family and your friends that my friend is the best part being with family and making memories and taking our young kids out and show them the true sport of fishing or crabbing that my friend is the best part the memories.
