Ok, Update - I've accepted an Offer from a Competitor of my former employer. I start Sept. 14th pending the usual pre-hire BS. I'll actually be working on Products I use to do years ago.

A new laptop that will get SolidWorks is on route to me after a setback with a stock issue. It'll take a little time to learn SolidWorks, But i have other stuff I need to do around the house as well before I start. (The Sept. start date is to allow me to get the full Severance Package that my former employer offered. Starting before then, I forfeit it.

OK guys, I just got Downsized after 23 years. I don't know how I'm going to do new stuff without access to the CAD software or what that's going to mean for what I do have going forward. I'm in a wee bit of shock right now.
