The Yarn Discovery Tour 2026 runs through this Sunday, September 27.

Because we have had some difficulties during this year's Yarn Discovery Tour, we first have to apologize if you have come to Peg's and the shop has not been open.

Second, the wonderful Yarn Discovery Tour team has recognized that, at times, life gets in the way of what we want to do and what we can do. Therefore, if you have visited all the other shops, except Peg's, please know that you will get CREDIT for visiting Peg's shop.

Third, if you have been trying to reach Mary Lynn at Peg's, she is no longer there.

Today is Saturday, August 1. It is the second last day of the Heartland Yarn Adventure. Keep in mind that Olmsted Falls Heritage Day race kicks off at 8:30. From 8:15 until approximately 10:00, many streets north of Grand Pacific Junction and Peg's will be closed for the race. If you are coming from the north, you can take I480 to Stearns, south on Stearns to Bagley, East on Bagley to Columbia, north on Columbia. Grand Pacific Junction will be on your left . Or take I 71 to Bagley, East on Bagley to Columbia, North on Columbia.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone trying to get to the shop this morning, but they never asked what our plans were lol.

The parade is this Saturday, August 1. See the information regarding the route. Several roads will be closed starting at approximately 8:15 a.mm. and are expected to last for 90 minutes.

🚧 Traffic Advisory – Olmsted Falls Heritage Days 5K 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Olmsted Falls Heritage Days 5K Race will take place on Saturday, August 1, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

To ensure the safety of all participants, several roads will be closed starting at approximately 8:15 a.m. Closures are expected to last for about an hour and a half. Once runners have completed the course, the roads will reopen as quickly as possible.

The following roads will be affected:• Water Street• Columbia Road• Elm Street• Mapleway Drive• Cranage Road• Clark Road• Cook Road• Nobottom Road• River Road

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and consider using alternate routes during the event.

It is Wednesday, July 29. The Heartland Yarn Adventure has only five more days!!! We would love to see you! Keep in mind that you do not need to purchase anything to get your passport stamped. Stop in, feel up the yarn and get stamped! Of course, we would really love to add to your yarny pleasures.

If you are coming to Peg's for the Adventure, there are a couple of other things going on during the adventure:

Sunday, July 26: Vintage Market Days at Grand Pacific Junction. Lots of Vendors, food trucks and entertainment.

Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2: Olmsted Falls Heritage Days. Some of the activities may impact your access to Peg's. On Saturday, August 1, starting at 7:30 (registration), there will be a 5K and fun run kicking off at 8:30. The ROUTE has yet to be published. On Sunday, August 2, there will be a Breakfast on the Bridge, starting at 8:00 a.m. The Bridge is less than .5 mile from Peg's.
