We hope everyone has enjoyed the long weekend with the people you love.

Since Labor Day is all about celebrating hard work, we thought we’d have a little fun…

What was your very first job?

Was it a paper route? Babysitting? Washing dishes? Mowing yards? Hauling hay all summer?

Around here…

Sara’s first job was babysitting, and once she was old enough for a “real” job, she worked at a roller skating rink. 🛼

Shawn started out as a dishwasher at Shoney’s.
And now we have to know… who else remembers Shoney’s?! 😂

Austin and Aiden? Well, Riddle Fi****ms is the first job for both of them. We all have to start somewhere!

Ladies… can we talk about something for a minute?
This is my target from the range today.

Is it perfect?
Absolutely not.

But guess what?
It passes.

And I wanted to show you the REAL target instead of only showing you the pretty ones.

Because one of the things we hear from women who are thinking about taking their LTC class is:
“I’m worried I’m not a good enough shooter.”
You don’t have to be perfect.

You don’t have to walk into class already knowing everything.

And you certainly don’t have to wait until every shot is exactly where you want it before you’re “ready.”
That’s what practice is for.

Shawn and I went to the range today, and just like everyone else, I practice too. Some days are better than others. Some groups are tighter than others. And there’s always something to work on.

Confidence doesn’t come before you practice. It comes FROM practicing.

So if you’ve been putting off your LTC because the shooting portion makes you nervous, don’t let that stop you.

Come out to the range.

Practice.

Ask us questions.

Get comfortable with your firearm.

And when you’re ready, come take the class with us.
