From Turtleman Used Books: The response to my last post has been great. My stockroom is now full of recycled packing materials for our book shipments. The only materials I could still use are your used bubble mailers. Thanks, everyone for all your help. And don't forget, we still have our clearance sidewalk sale going at least through Sunday.

Hey Friends of Turtleman Used Books,
We are in need of recycled mailing materials again. Need used bubble mailers, packing materials (paper, shredded paper, packing peanuts, bubble wrap, foam, etc.), and small to medium used boxes, especially coffee table book-sized ones (long and wide, but rather thin). Please bring them by our store, suite #4, in the Olympia Professional Building, at the corner of Capitol and 22nd SW, Wednesday through Sunday. I always obscure addresses and remove labels before reusing mailing materials. If you get here before I do, just leave them by the door. Thank you in advance.

A reminder that the Clearance Sidewalk Sale is still going at Turtleman Used Books. Open Wednesday through Sunday in the Olympia Professional Building at the corner of Capitol and 22nd Ave SW. And yes, we will be open at ten AM on Sunday, even with the parade staging right in front of our building. Come see us before or after the mass marching extravaganza! The Olympia Baking Company next door will also be open, serving up their delicious gluten-free scones and biscuits.

Now available at Turtleman Used Books: A three-volume paperback set of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's magnum opus, "The Gulag Archipelago". Published by Harper Perennial in 2007, this set looks near new, with just a few edge chips and square, uncreased spines. Over 1900 pages in total. Available in store for $42.00.

Offering at Turtleman Used Books: The complete 20 volume Ellery Queen's Masterpieces of Mystery set (Davis Publications, 1976–1979). Uniform red bindings, tight and clean. Former library set, well kept. Includes all volumes from The Supersleuths to Choice Cuts. Excellent reading and reference set for mystery collectors. Some spines are a bit skewed, as shown in photo #3. Others are square or near square. The Grand Masters ( #3 in the set) has no library markings and is in near fine condition. Most of the books show some wear at the corners, but little else. The pages are not tanned, indicating high-quality paper. A total of 366 short stories across the 20 volumes. This set weighs 30 pounds. Local pickup in Olympia. $295. I have found no other complete sets available on the market at this time. First come, first served.
