It’s been a busy couple of weeks at Welch's Appliances , but we’re happy to share some good news. ❤️

We were able to safely trap two male feral cats and one female feral cat from behind our shop. The adults are being taken care of through the TNR program with Joint Animal Services, which will help prevent the colony from continuing to grow.

We also successfully trapped three more kittens, who will be heading to Kitten Rescue of Mason County so they can receive the care they need and eventually find loving homes. This is in addition to the three kittens we previously found homes for, including our own Kenny and May, who will be joining us as indoor shop kitties. 🐾

A huge thank you to Joint Animal Services and Kitten Rescue of Mason County for helping us make this possible. We’re so grateful for the work they do for animals in our community.

Big update from Welch's Appliances :🚨

Last night we successfully trapped the feral mama cat we’ve been trying to catch, along with an intact male feral cat from the same area. This morning we will be dropping them off to get fixed through TNR.

Our goal is simple: do the right thing and help prevent the colony from continuing to grow. Feral cats can multiply quickly, and getting them fixed is one of the most responsible and humane ways to make a real difference.

We also recently discovered three larger kittens in the same area, and we’re in the process of trying to safely trap them so they can hopefully be socialized and placed into loving homes.

A huge thank you to Lacey Animal Shelter for providing TNR services for mama and the male cat, and to Mason County Kitten Rescue for holding a spot for the kittens once we’re able to catch them. We are so grateful for the people and organizations in our community who step up to help animals in need.

We’re animal lovers over here, and we’re just doing our best to help where we can. ❤️

WE'RE HIRING! At Welch's Appliances
We are looking for a part-time team member to help with appliance detailing, cleaning, loading and unloading appliances, and assisting with deliveries.
This position has the potential to grow into a full-time role with benefits, paid holidays, regular bonuses, and paid vacation.
We are a small, family-run business and are looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and good with people. The right person should be comfortable helping customers, working as part of a team, and safely moving appliances with an appliance dolly.
Position includes:
• Cleaning and detailing appliances
• Loading and unloading appliances
• Assisting with deliveries
• Helping keep the shop organized
• Working with customers and our team
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Able to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs with an appliance dolly
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and professional
• Team-oriented and willing to help where needed
• Comfortable working with customers
Competitive pay based on experience.

Meet Kenmore and Maytag, or Kenny and May for short. 🐾
We had a stray mama cat recently have kittens here at Welch's Appliances and after keeping a close eye on them, we made the decision to bring the kittens inside to foster and care for them.
Our plan is to give Kenny and May a safe, healthy indoor life here at the shop, where they’ll be loved, spoiled, and eventually become our official Welch’s Appliances shop cats.
We are also currently working on safely trapping their mama, along with the tomcat who has been hanging around, so they can be spayed and neutered through a TNR program. Our goal is to do what’s best for everyone involved, helping prevent more unwanted litters while making sure these cats are cared for as humanely as possible.
Kenny and May are still settling in, but they’re already stealing hearts around here.
We’re excited to let our customers watch them grow and become part of the Welch’s family. ❤️
