I volunteered for the Nebraska Humane Society and took an Angel shelter dog to an adoption event!

Meet Angel, a literal angel baby! 🥹🐾 She was a confiscate due to her owner going to jail. I’m so grateful the shelter takes in dogs in these circumstances.

Angel is 2 years old and fully grown at only 30 lbs. She is itty bitty and her photos and videos don’t do her justice at how tiny she really is in person.

She’s super sweet, loves meeting new people, did great with kids of all ages, is dog friendly, is a great car passenger, and is treat motivated.

She can pull on the leash while walking but since she’s tiny she’s very manageable but may need some guidance on learning to not pull so much.

We had so much fun at this event and this girl definitely stole my heart. 🩷

I volunteered for the Nebraska Humane Society and visited a shelter dog who is being fostered that has had almost zero interest for almost 5 months!

Bulma has been in the shelter’s care for almost 5 months (since June 9th) and in foster care for almost 3 months (since August 7th).

She has had close to zero interest since then. 💔 Dogs like her that need a specific home don’t always get the same chances as other dogs.

Her specific home needs to have no cats or small critters and she may do best as the only dog (she is dog selective). But the awesome things are she loves every single human including kids and is so sweet she’ll give you a cavity.

She is a true Velcro dog that simply wants to be with her humans no matter what you’re doing. She loves to snuggle, go for walks, share snacks, and love hard.

Bulma is available for adoption with the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha.

Since she’s in foster care, she’ll be seen by appointment only with the shelter. If interested, please fill out an adoption application and a shelter staff member will be in contact if it’s a good fit. 🩷

My dog Meatball got a visit from his grandma and grandpa!

Since Meatball is now on a specialized hydrolyzed diet for his chronic diarrhea, they couldn’t bring him his favorite fruit.

So instead I made two bowls of his special food and treats for them to bring in so he didn’t think they forgot to bring him snacks. 🥰

Meatball’s grandpa accidentally knelt down on his paw and even though his yelp breaks your heart, he is ok and wasn’t hurt. And he forgot all about it 5 seconds later. 👍

Even though Meatball had a great time with his grandparents, he started acting weird when we walked them outside.

He didn’t want to jump up in their car to say goodbye like he always does. 💔

After they left, I figured out why he was acting so funny. He ended up having diarrhea so his tummy was probably not feeling good at that time. 😢

He hasn’t had diarrhea since then but his poops still aren’t great. More to come on this as we’re still navigating a new diet and going to try a new probiotic soon.

But visits from his grandparents always make him feel better for a little while at least. 🩷🥹

Meet Mr. Steal Yo’ Girl! 😍

Our Mr. Steal Yo’ Girl reversible bandana is officially here, and Meatball is already out here stealing the show (and yo’ girl).

One side is bright turquoise with Mr. Steal Yo’ Girl and a bow tie and flip it over and BAM…full tuxedo.

I volunteered for the Nebraska Humane Society and took a shelter dog to the Bunnicula show at The Rose Theater Omaha in Omaha. 🐰🧛‍♀️

Meet Gigi! She was surrendered to the shelter due to someone in the family having bad allergies.

She’s 4 years old, very sweet and loves to give kisses. She can be shy/nervous meeting new people but if you give her about 30 seconds she will be super wiggly and lean into you.

The event was very busy and had lots of kids and this girl did amazing with everyone.

She’s very treat motivated and knows sit, shake, and down.

She was dog reactive at the event and may need some additional training, patience, and consistency to help her navigate her feelings.

She likes to play with toys but only if you’re playing with her too. 🥰 She is an A+ car passenger and was calm and quiet the entire ride.

Thank you to the staff at The Rose Theater for having us and giving our dogs so much love. 🥰

Our FIRST-EVER reversible dog bandanas are finally here! 🎃🐾

We’ve been working on our new reversible dog bandanas for months, and today they officially go live!
