CDE Animal Cages™ just posted a new YouTube video (link in description box) about our three types of shields. Depicted above are the two different materials used to create the shields. 2 of 3 shields are made out of HDPE plastic (top) and provide containment rather than privacy. 1 of 3 shields is for privacy (bottom), made out of ABS plastic ~ the same plastic we use for Solids and Floors. Depending on your needs, knowing the difference in material type helps tremendously when choosing a shield. Spray (hangs outside enclosure) and Containment Shields (hangs inside enclosure) are the HDPE plastic. A Privacy Shield (hangs outside enclosure) is ABS plastic.
