The College World Series is in Omaha, so naturally Acorn Hollow had to join in on the fun!

This week we're stepping up to the plate with an all-new baseball-themed sensory room featuring a Baseball Diamond Sand Table, Feed the Acorn Hollow Mascot, a Ballpark Concession Stand, Bottom of the Ninth Ice Cream Station, Seventh Inning Stretch Lemonade Stand, a Baseball Sensory Tinker Station, and Championship Team Play.

We've also added baseball-themed coloring pages and plenty of opportunities for imaginative play all week long.

And while you're here, don't forget to stop by the store! We are currently very well stocked with toys, books, sensory items, playdough, baby gifts, summer favorites, and many of the items you've been asking for. It's a great time to shop before some of our most popular items disappear again.

Whether you're visiting Omaha for the College World Series or you're a local looking for a fun way to spend the day, we'd love to see you in the Hollow.

Looking for something fun to do with your little acorns this week?
Acorn Hollow is open for play every day this week with the exception of two private group reservations:
• Thursday, June 4th from 2:30pm–4:30pm
• Saturday, June 6th from 10:00am–12:00pm

Outside of those times, we'll be open during our normal business hours for open play!

This week's favorite setup might just be our new Build a Coral Reef table, where children can create their own vibrant underwater world by arranging colorful coral pieces, adding starfish, and building a beautiful reef in the sand. We also have a cheerful Watermelon Sensory Bin that's perfect for summer-inspired scooping, pouring, and imaginative play.

And while you're here, don't forget to check out some of our newest inventory and restocks! We've replenished some of our most-loved baby dolls, along with doll strollers, bottles, feeding accessories, and even new doll food options, including Cocoa Loops for all those hungry babies. New soft toys, magical capes, and more!

Summer is here, and Oak & Acorn is ready for all the adventures ahead!

We've been adding lots of new summer-inspired goodies to the shop, including:

* Ocean-themed books perfect for summer reading
* New sensory mixes, including our refreshing Lemonade Mix

Planning a road trip, vacation, or just looking for ways to keep little hands busy this summer? Be sure to check out our travel table, filled with portable games, activities, and toys that are perfect for taking on the go!

And after a busy season of private events and parties, our sensory playroom, Acorn Hollow, has much more availability for open play, including additional weekends! Acorn Hollow is our sensory-inspired play space designed for children to explore, imagine, create, and play at their own pace in a calm and welcoming environment. Located right inside our toy store! At only $10 per family, it's one of the most affordable places to play as a family!

Our sensory playroom, Acorn Hollow, will be closed today (Thursday, May 21st) from 10am-12pm for a group reservation. It will immediately open back up after 12pm for play.

We’re turning TWO this Saturday from 10am–6pm and we want to celebrate with all of you 🎉

To help spread the word (and share a little extra magic), we’re doing a giveaway!

This Saturday, May 16th, Acorn Hollow will be transformed into a creative, hands-on experience for your little acorns. For one day only, the sensory room becomes The Little Makers Hollow - filled with arts and crafts stations for kids of all ages to explore and create.

Here’s what you can expect:
• Flower Boutique Station - create your own bouquet out of paper flowers that can be decorated
• Bracelet Making Station - design a wearable keepsake
• Fairy Dust Potion Bottle Station - mix up a little fairy dust magic
• Treasure Map Making Station - create your own adventure for the beginner map maker to the more experienced!

These stations will be open all day for families to flow in and out and enjoy at their own pace. (No regular sensory play this day..just lots of crafting and fun!)

We’ll also have:
• Frios Omaha here from 2:30–4:30pm with FREE frozen treats (while supplies last)
• A HUGE in-store giveaway - for every $50 you spend tej day of our celebration, you’ll receive an entry to win a $500 store gift certificate. The winner will be announced that evening.

As a primarily women-run (and mama-run) shop, we’ve decided to be closed this Sunday for Mother’s Day.

So much of Oak & Acorn (especially Acorn Hollow) was created with our own children in mind. We pour a lot of heart into this space, and this day feels like one we want to slow down, be present, and spend with the little ones who made us moms in the first place.

We hope all of you get to spend the day in whatever way feels best for you... whether that’s rest, play, family time, or a little bit of everything.

We will be open normal hours tomorrow (Saturday), and Acorn Hollow will be open for play, so come in, stay awhile, and enjoy a little magic with us.

And then… we have something really special coming up.

Our TWO YEAR STORE CELEBRATION is happening the following Saturday, May 16th!

For the day, Acorn Hollow will be transformed into The Little Makers Hollow..a cozy, creative space filled with arts and crafts stations for your little acorns to explore. We’ll have multiple tables set up where kids can create, craft, and take their creations home with them.

Just a note: there will be no regular sensory play this day, but it will be filled with so much hands-on fun and creativity.

A quick little heads up for the weekend- our sensory play room, Acorn Hollow, will be closed for birthday parties all weekend.

While the Hollow is full of celebrations, the shop itself is more magical than ever. We just had a huge inventory restock this week and our shelves are the fullest they’ve been since Christmas.

So many beautiful new spring arrivals are out-from books to toys and everything in between. It truly feels like a fresh season inside the shop, and we can’t wait for you to see it.

We hope you’ll stop by and wander a bit. We appreciate each and every one of you!

A little weekend update from the Hollow
Our sensory play room, Acorn Hollow, will be closed this Saturday, April 11th for a full day of birthday celebrations. The store will still be OPEN so come stop by for some goodies!

The playroom will be back open for normal hours on Sunday, April 12th, ready for little acorns!

Our newest sensory kits are here and we are so excited about them. Each one includes our custom trash truck trays with removable bins and sorting pieces-giving little ones a hands-on, meaningful way to learn about caring for the Earth through play.
