There has been a lot of thefts this year at cons it seems. Even with all the security measures I've made to make it harder to steal from my booth some kid almost got something from my booth a few weeks ago.
So a reminder to all congoers. Almost all of the booths you see at a convention are small businesses, run by one to five people with the biggest non corporate ones having like 20 employees max.
We work amazingly hard to source the kick ass anime and fandom stuff you love and want to buy and then spend hours driving to, setting up and tearing down our booths for you to have access to everything in one place.
It's a fun job but so much work and most of us are always tired and sore, especially people like me that only sometimes have another person to help out.
So please, don't steal from the artists and vendors at the con, most of us are doing our best to keep it together. Save up for the big things you want to buy and remember, you may want something, but it doesn't mean you need it right that second. Ask for our cards, follow our social media and ask us about said item when you have the funds together again.
