This one's a shop favorite — Johnny and Joe can barely keep their hands off it.

The Black Russian is a distinct chapter in the Big M**f story, built during EHX's Sovtek-era Russian production run. Compared to the Green Russian, it runs thicker and more mid-forward, with less of that scooped, fizzy top end — not as boomy as a Ram's Head, but plenty of weight and saturation.

Endless sustain. Dense harmonic fuzz. That unmistakable M**f tone that's all over classic records.

Happy Saturday! It’s a busy music day in Omaha and we wanted to show off a very cool guitar that has made its way to the wall.

Here is a Fender Made in Japan FSR Traditional II 60s Jazzmaster. This was made as a special run for the Japanese domestic market, but as you know, Fender Japan guitars are of the highest quality and are sought after by guitar enthusiasts.

With a Sherwood Metallic Green finish (and matching headstock) on an alder body, this is one primo looking Jazzmaster.

It’s Classic Fuzz Friday here at the shop.

Here’s a truly special piece that will make any collector blush. The Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face is a legendary pedal known for its round metal chassis, two simple control k***s, and silicon transistors.

Using the code on the potentiometers, this one has been dated to the 12th week of 1969.

These models are known to be brighter, more aggressive with cleaner sustain than the older models with germanium transistors. Perfect for those big solos or a cleaned up crunch by rolling back the guitar’s volume k**b.

This is the sound of Hendrix, Gilmour, and Duane Allman in the late 60s and early 70s.

It’s time to conjure the master of the low end riff with this Squier Precision Bass. A rare made in Mexico Squier, this black beaut has been upgraded with Geezer Butler signature EMG pickups, a Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles, and matching gold hardware.

We cranked this one up and the pickups are truly noiseless. All riff, no squeal. Hot dang!

Here’s a rare bird: the Fender Jazzmaster Ultralight Combo Amp.

Introduced in 2005, and, like the original intentions of the Jazzmaster guitar, this amp was primarily aimed at Jazz players but has become a cult favorite for all of the unique features in this small, very light package. A 250 watt, 2 Channel head with built in effects on each channel. You’ve got onboard Reverb, Chorus, Fl**ge, Tremolo, Vibrato, and Delay with several different effect algorithms and blends of two effects. Truly a super versatile amp with impressive effects and overdrive.

You get a padded amp carry bag, footswitch, and Speakon and power cable included when you take this one home.

The Airline MAP DLX is a tribute to the vintage National Newport. This reissue has a chambered mahogany body and a medium/slim bolt-on neck with a bound fingerboard, pearl inlays, Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers, and a Bigsby tremolo.
