After nearly 40 years of nurturing Bookworm Omaha into the store you know and love, Phil and Beth Black have passed ownership of the store to their son, Jeremy Black.
Phil and Beth have made this decision while they are in good health and the business is on solid ground.

Jeremy, his husband DyShaun, our management team & booksellers are excited to continue building upon what Phil and Beth started in 1986. As the baton passes to a new generation, Bookworm Omaha remains a beacon of bookish culture hosted by a knowledgeable & friendly staff. We are proud to keep serving readers across Omaha and beyond. Bonus points if you let us know why the book matters to you. 👉 Then, during our Banned Books Week celebration in October, the most highly recommended titles will be available in-store at a discount and feature signage about why readers should pick it up.
