Bookstore Romance Day is in THREE days! 💘📚 Here's Chloe, Hannah, and Sarah with our raffle baskets, complete with books, gift cards, ARCs, bookish goodies, a Romance Reader calendar from Sourcebooks, and more. 👉 One very special 'first place' basket includes a Book Lovers Scrapbook, made with love by our friend & retired bookseller, Sharon, and full of flaps and folds to document all your reading and literary adventures.

Since 1978, Luigi Inc. has taken the stage every Sunday night at Mister Toad. Now, a new book by Erich Christiansen, compiled with band member Doyle Tipler, celebrates the band that keeps the music going. Join us on Sunday, August 16th as Jeffrey Koterba moderates a conversation with Tipler and Christiansen about this heartfelt tribute—not just to a band, but to the venue that welcomed them, the community that shows up week after week, and the man who started it all, Luigi Waites.

Join us this Wednesday at 6 pm as we welcome Colleen Morton Busch, winner of Ex Ophidia Press' Richard-Gabriel Rummonds Poetry Contest, and Shyla Shehan for a poetry reading and book signing.

The 2025 Richard-Gabriel Rummonds Poetry Contest-winning author of "Smolder" joins us in-store on Wednesday, August 5 at 6 pm, presented in partnership with Ex Ophidia Press.
"Smolder" takes its title from a diagnosis the author's husband received two decades ago, of smoldering multiple myeloma—a treatable but incurable blood cancer. The poems herein are about tending to aliveness. They're love poems, elegies, prayers, howls, meditations. Together, they illuminate what it means to live with the open flame of a tender heart.

Shyla Shehan, author of "Mining the Gap" will join Colleen to read a selection of poems.
