Poppleton has exactly two jobs around here: spreading sunshine and handing out kisses. We’d say he’s excelling at both.

Come get your own kisses! Book with us at www.ilovebriarwood.com

WE MAY HAVE CREATED A MONSTER…

The baby goats discovered a brand-new playground today, and let’s just say they immediately decided it was the greatest invention in the history of goats.

There was climbing.
There was jumping.
There were questionable life choices.
And there was absolutely no adult supervision.

Watching them bounce, leap, and show off for each other is about the cutest thing we’ve seen all week. They were having so much fun that we almost felt bad interrupting their adventures.

Almost.

Come see these little troublemakers for yourself. They grow up way too fast, but right now they’re living their very best baby goat lives. ❤️

Turn your volume up.

A little morning ASMR for you. Pearl was really feeling her bottle this morning, and honestly? We get it.

Just listen to those happy little slurps. If that’s not the sweetest sound to start your day, we don’t know what is.

Come meet Pearl and the rest of the Briarwood babies—you might leave with a full heart and a new favorite farm sound.

The goats have officially heard Ryan sing.

And somehow… they still love him.

His singing is questionable. His lyrics are mostly made up. His audience is captive. But every baby goat ends up completely relaxed in his arms like they’re front row at a sold-out concert.

Proof that true love is blind… and apparently deaf.

Meet Jasper!

Our micro mini donkey is officially settling into life at Briarwood Acres, and I’d say he’s pretty smitten with his new goat friends. Just over a year old, Jasper is curious, sweet, and always wants to know what everyone else is up to.

And while he’s adorable now, he’s got an important job ahead of him. Jasper is growing into a livestock guardian and will help keep an eye on all of his farmyard buddies.

For now? He’s mostly making friends, stealing hearts, and following the goats around like he’s been part of the gang forever.

Come meet Jasper and the rest of the crew!

Is it ever going to stop raining?

Don’t get me wrong—the ground needed it, the grass is loving it, and everything is turning that gorgeous shade of green. But between the mud, the puddles, and trying to keep everyone dry, it’s making cow cuddles and goat snuggles a little tricky around here.

We’re grateful for the rain… but we’d also be grateful for about three sunny days in a row.

Until then, we’ll be over here watching the forecast and waiting for the moment we can get back to full-speed snuggling.

How do we keep our girls so fit?
Glad you asked.
Personal trainer Ryan clocks in every day. His methods are usually questionable, but the results speak for themselves.

The College World Series is great… but have you ever cuddled a cow?

If you’re visiting town, make time for the cutest detour around. We’re just 20 minutes outside Omaha, where baby goats, friendly cows, fresh air, and plenty of Briarwood magic are waiting for you.

Because let’s face it—you’re not going to find this experience anywhere else.

These storms are starting to feel really heavy around here. I know the rain is needed after such a dry stretch, but we are so ready for a little sunshine and a chance to dry out.

The hard part isn’t the mud or the mess… it’s the fear that comes with loving these animals so deeply. Every single one of them is part of our family here, and when the weather turns like this, it can feel really scary.

We’ll keep doing everything we can for them, same as always. Just hoping for a little break in the weather and some gentler days ahead for all of us.
