My name is Julie Kraw and I am a creative artist living with my parrots in Omaha, Nebraska. I've been creating art since I was a small child… I started designing jewelry as art several years ago when I took silversmithing classes at a local college. After that my new motto was "NO art is TOO BIG or too small.” It took several years but I finally have a way to get my art to you. My specialties are

enameling, anodizing and art blacksmithing. My designs are definitely one-of-a-kind. I try to capture colors and shapes found in nature in every piece. A majority of my inspiration comes from the time I spent living in Arizona…. I lived in the Grand Canyon working as a mule guide for a year. I love nature and the southwest and try to invoke the spirit of the desert in many of my pieces. I utilize several different processes to make these unique treasures for you. I am drawn to learning the less mainstream methods of metalworking such as blacksmithing and anodizing and enjoy combining these different techniques together to bring you works of art unlike anything else you have seen. I take pride in creating my jewelry by hand.... Lots of time and care goes into crafting each individual piece. Thanks so much for visiting Alchemy Artworks and supporting an independent artist!
