Love to see a local author featured! Ted was one of the first authors to stock his books at The Reading Room. Read more about him and his background in Omaha Magazine’s feature.

Author Ted Wheeler has built a writing life in Omaha as a novelist, Creighton professor, former reporter, and co-owner of Dundee Book Company. His work turns history into fiction with characters at the center, including his popular novels Kings of Broken Things and In Our Other Lives, available through local booksellers.

“I like getting deep inside of the character and trying to understand people in that way,” Wheeler said. “It has never gotten old for me.”
