It amazing how life can get you so excited about something good then makes you wait for it to happen!!!!!!
We are better off than we were 2 weeks ago but disappointed that construction was supposed to start today and didn't!!!!
NOW WE ARE WAITING ON THE CITY TO SIGNOFF ON THE PERMITS NEEDED FOR THE WORK TO BEGIN!!!!!
Want to thank all of you for all your kind words and support during all of this. Take care and I will give you and update as soon as we hear something about this mess.

GOOD NEWS!!!!
FIRST HAVE A HAPPY A SAFE LABOR DAY!!!!!
The yahoo's insurance company finally picked a bid to begin work on our store front!!!!!
Sad thing it was a bid that was put in over 5 weeks ago.
I will have another update next week. Until then enjpy this Labor Day Weekend!!!

The Yahoo's insurance company says they will choose one of the bids this week. That doesn't mean the work will start but a bid should be awarded this week.
I'M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH!!!!!
Even if they do award the bid how long it will take to get the contractor out here and the materials to do the job is still anyone's guess.

We are doing fine and still waiting on the Yahoo's insurance company.
WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR HOW LONG THIS IS TAKING TO GET RESOLVED!!!!!!!!

Loran and I have been shopping and doing all we can to hit the ground running once the insurance companies start acting on fixing our store front.

Zero things got done this past week because of the Yahoo's insurance company is dragging their feet. They called in their company to put a bid in last Monday. As of Friday, they hadn't finished calculating it. My insurance has already started takin care of us. Thank goodness for good insurance agent. Our landlord was ready to start last Monday but held up by the Yahoo's insurance company. We are going on our 4th week of shutdown because a 17-year-old Yahoo ran a car into our business. Then ran away from the scene after he destroyed his friend's mom car and our business front.

Update we are waiting on the Yahoos insurance company. I guess they don't understand that JUNK N TREASURE IS THE VICTIM. Our landlord is ready to get moving on this situation. Our insurance company is doing all they can. Thank you for your support. Keep checking in. I will update everyone as soon as I hear anything.

I want to REITERATE WE DO NOT HAVE A DRIVE THRU AT OUR STORE!!!! I would also like to say we are not open at 1:20AM on Saturday. So, please only shop during normal store hours.

Junk N Treasure got some help today from Junkyard Dog. He couldn't believe there was only one lady that got VERY MINOR INJURIES from all this carnage. Then I told him how all three of her so-called friends ran off and left her there. Then I told him the Yahoo driving wasn't even the owners kid.
I also told Junkyard Dog Loran and I are fine. We make light of this situation because no one got hurt and we can put it all back together as soon as the construction is done. We have a very good landlord and insurance.
We will return as soon as possible. We hope to see all of you when we do.
