Status update: Still by myself. Picked up Five Guys fries to help keep me going.✨

For those keeping score, I’ve now called in Molly’s and Five Guys for support. Still haven’t called in Mikalina. Less than one hour to go.

For anyone judging my ability to last eight hours alone, please note: I briefly left for pizza. But I did not call Mikalina. That’s independent problem solving.🍕😂

Mikalina’s day off!✨

My first real attempt at covering the entire day by myself. What could possibly go wrong?

She left detailed instructions. I put them somewhere safe.

If anyone finds them, I’d love to know what I’m supposed to be doing.

Who wants to guess how much of my eight-hour shift I’ll make it through before calling her in?

Be specific! Leave your guess in hours AND minutes in the comments. Whoever guesses correctly or comes closest (without going over) will get $25 in store credit!

Fun fact:

Every crystal at Zen’d has been personally inspected by me.

Also, every crystal at Zen’d has been briefly considered for theft by me.

It’s a complicated business plan.

A little fun fact about Mikalina!✨

Before she wrapped crystals and made custom jewelry, she was a custom cake maker. She created elaborate custom cakes for any occasion. In 2016, she briefly worked at Dunkin here in Oneonta, she created these cute little spider and other spooky donuts just for fun.🍩🕷️

Customers loved them! Her manager showed someone from corporate, and they quickly became popular.

A year later, Dunkin officially rolled out the spider donuts nationwide.

The screenshot is from her phone from 2016. Just a little peek at her creativity and inspiration before crystals!

It’s Friday at Zen’d!✨

People sometimes say we have too many crystals…

You don’t walk into an aquarium and question the number of fish, do you?

Please. Respect the habitat. And please don't tap the glass.

Mikalina said we need to make room for new inventory. That gave me a brilliant idea!✨

But apparently bringing crystals home to add to my collection doesn’t count as a good business strategy.

I feel like we’re getting hung up on technicalities.

Anyway, I’ll be adding more great pieces to the 50% off table.
