Hello Everyone!!

Some of you may know that aside from Pot of Jules I am also a Certified Athletic Trainer. I received my Masters in May and after almost a year of searching I have finally been blessed with a full time position at a University near by! I am both nervous and excited to be back in the world of sports medicine but unfortunately this means my time will now be full of taking care of sports teams and taping ankles again which leaves very little time for painting pots. Due to this I have decided to take a step back from Pot of Jules while I adjust to the new position. BUT DONT YOU WORRY! I WILL BE BACK!! And my goal is to come back bigger, better, and TRUER to what I really want Pot of Jules to be. I truly appreciate all the support I have received and the connections I have made during this time. I truly cannot wait for you all to see my true vision for Pot of Jules! Thank you for all your support and for understanding this next step in my journey!! Hola a todxs!
We have reached 600 followers, for which I’m both ecstatic and eternally grateful, so I think it’s time I formally introduce myself!
My name is Juleyka and I was born in Puerto Rico! After years of moving due to being a military brat I now live in Ontario, California with my amazing boyfriend and am just trying to figure life out.
I got my Masters in Athletic Training and towards the end of my graduate degree (in the midst of the pandemic like many of you) I began collecting plants. I decided to paint my own pots for my new plant babies and that’s how Pot of Jules was born! The feeling of placing my plant baby in a pot painted just for them was so amazing that I knew I needed to share the feeling with every other plant parent out there. I also wanted to keep painting more pots but have absolutely no room for more plants so it was time to share the love!
As someone who never considered herself an artist, Pot of Jules has been a crazy ride full of doubts but ultimately lots of love and joy that I’m lucky enough to spread to my customers! I always said I wanted a ceramics studio but it never seemed realistic or accessible. My new goal is making it both realistic and accessible, or at least trying to, for me and everyone around me. Ceramics and painting has brought me a new sense of peace and purpose I didn't know I needed so I'm extremely grateful for all the opportunities and connections I have made through starting Pot of Jules. I've met so many amazing people who inspire me to keep going and grow to my fullest potential and for that I am eternally grateful!
