We carry the climbing, Cecile Brunner Rose it is still being produced by the major Rose Growers Weeks Roses & Star Roses and plants. Cecile Brunner also comes in a compact shrub Rose officially classified as a polyantha Rose. The shrub form of this variety is very difficult to find so two years ago. I decided to propagate it from a rose that was planted in the garden of the farmhouse here on the property this original farmhouse dates back to 1913 probably around the time, the roses was planet. I was involved in this project of propagating for 2 1/2 years. I must say it was a labor of love to see these roses take hold and grow 🌹

I can already see the facts from the heavy fog and morning dew has It’s affect on them. For us the pruning season will be later than normal projecting it to be mid to late January.
