Throwback Thursday….
My grandma, Eunice VanDyke, about 20 years ago, in Sun Gold Farm ‘s flower field. It’s great reminder of the influence she had on me growing up. In her love of growing beautiful things, she led by the example that hard work showed tangible results. Yeah, growing and tending a large flower garden is hard work- but so worth it. 💚

This picture is posted on our fridge, a simple daily reminder the quiet influence she’s had on me and my family. She was such a humble, beautiful lady.

Join us this Saturday at the Ontario Saturday Market for a community plant swap! 🪴

This is a drop-in event so stop by the OSU Master Gardener tent anytime between 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. You will receive tickets in exchange for your plants that you can then exchange for new plants as they arrive at the swap table. Browse all the wonderful vendors at the Saturday Market while you wait for the table to fill up! The Malheur Nursery will be donating plants for the event as well. 🏵️🌻🌸🌱

Hey, there’s a PLANT SWAP at the Ontario Saturday Market this weekend. August 8th, 9:30am-1:30pm, in the Ontario Tractor Supply parking lot. It’s sponsored by the OSU extension office and will be located at the OSU Master Gardener tent. Malheur Nursery will be donating some plants for the event.

*Bring healthy, pest-free plants or cuttings in containers (containers will not be returned)
