While the family has grown produce for their own use since homesteading in 1909 they have only sold to the public off and on. Jess Jackson (Poppa) sold watermelons, cantaloupe and tomatoes as well as a few other items to many of the local grocery stores and produce stands for many years. After the Maple Tree was closed he quit selling to the public. Now his vast knowledge is being passed down to h

is granddaughter Kris. This is not a huge commercial farm, most of the work is done by hand requiring a lot hard work to keep the area weeded and growing. We hope that you enjoy the produce as much as our family does.
