Will you come to my...Heated Rivalry vinyl release party this summer?

Friday, July 10th at 5PM — we’re going back to the cottage to celebrate the release of the Heated Rivalry soundtrack on vinyl and CD. We’ll have some freebies and activities and prizes and whatnot, as well as the chance to celebrate with other fans in the record shop.

The Heated Rivalry Original Soundtrack is available to pre-order now at 10000HzRECORDS.COM and includes songs & score from the series, collectible insert items, and a new bonus track, too. Hell yeah.

Went long on one of our favorite pieces of local lore…when the Stones rolled into Auburn. Turns out it was a near total fluke that it happened at all, and it’s pretty hard to imagine something comparable coming here in 2026. WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING HERE? Episode 5. Everybody’s got a story to tell (and some are better than others).

Our customer and pal Austin McCoy wrote a whole book on De La Soul and I’m excited to get into it…you can be, too, because we’ve got copies of LIVING IN A D.A.I.S.Y. AGE in the record shop and he was nice enough to sign some of them for you. Feel like I watched Austin think out loud about this project on social media for years and I’m guessing if you took his classes during his time teaching in the Department of History at Auburn, you probably heard him doing the same thing there. So cool to see this out in the world. 🌼

Another SatUSEDurday, another pile of ultrasonically cleaned / play-tested / graded used LPs…some bread & butter, some oddballs & curios, locals get first shot at these in the shop and the pricier stuff hits the website after a few days if it’s still hanging around — that’s how we do it. We’ve bought so much good stuff lately…you can probably tell. C’mon by, til 5PM on the weekends.
