A throwback to one of my personal favorite jobs.
A good customer called me one day with a simple question: “What am I looking at?” I swung by and found a concoction that would normally get an eye roll out of me, but this time I saw some innovation.
The previous homeowner had built their own hydraulic elevator using two 55-gallon drums, some pipe, and a handful of parts from Radioshack!
Conventional? Not a chance. We ended up taking it down for insurance purposes 🙃, but it was a good reminder that you can do just about anything with a creative mind and a pile of parts.
