So we survived the 24 hour tournament gauntlet this weekend. Did really well on the James and won 4 differ prizes. Youth fish, little fish. Lady angler ,and got second place overall. Tried some new water on the main channel and got one nice one. Then we rushed to the rapp to join our normal monthly your. As soon as we hit the water the bait was down 5 mph ,by the time we got to port royal we were doing 12 mph lol. So we turned around and did some dock sitting. Continue our streak on Blazin Kat Tournament Trail of fishing 2 miles either side of the dock. We managed to get a 30 lb but that didn't have nothing for the fellas. We saw several two fish livewell this weekemd that pushed the 100 mark. Overall we had a great and survived 24 hours on a boat. Last night tour of the year and also our last James river tournament. We move to the chic the rest of the series. def excited to try some new water !!! Thanks Jessica Perryman Anthony Witherspoon Paul Witherspoon for tagging along this weekend and giving me a hand. Until next month. Gonna try to make a few trips to the chic before next month if anyone wants to join.

The old Nissan finally called it quits last week so we had to get a new fishing buggy. We can haul the whole crew and all the gear now nice and dry. Not the best gas mileage but for the ride and comfortability I'll take it!! Def pulls the boats so much easier lol

Pitting all the hooks to the test here at home lately with plans of coming out with a business partner and offering economical catfish hooks. Yesterday test was the bench vise and vice grips. Well the hook we went against yesterday def meet the challenge. snapped in two before I even cranked on it. The new private label hooks just bent and bent , no breaks. U be the judge. Hopefully next year we thru our testing and ready to release. Anyone interested in trying some I'm giving out free samples. These are a 45 eye. We will be testing straight eye next batch. Carbon steel , chemically sharpened,with one hell of a off set. River rat rigs are gonna be a thing!!!!

Had a slow weekend on the cats, topped out under 40lbs, but me and Junkyard Katz had a blast doing it. The Friday evening bait trip we did paid off tho. We will be eating good the next couple days. 3 decent snakes in under 10 minutes. We might have expand our horizons if this keeps up. First snakehead caught all year for us , and we tripled up. Reaching out to anyone that wants to help. I'm taking collections of warm clothes, blankets , sleeping bags, anything along that lines. A good friend of mine Tony Tyler is headed down to help out and wants to get as much as we can together by the end of the weekend. Also taking cash or gas cards Walmart, anything like that could be used for the guys to get down there and for their stay.
