We specialize drought tolerant, native and unusual plants, mostly in 4” and one gallon sizes that are accessible to the home gardener, all at affordable prices! We also carry a wide variety of sedums & succulents, scented geraniums & herbs, and hard to find classic cottage garden st

Who is Johnnye Merle? She was our grandma, born and raised in Texas and the original garden geek. We named our nursery after her and her love of plants, cats and books! Johnnye Merle's Gardens is located in the gardens of Country Roads Antiques in Old Town Orange, CA. You won't find a storefront for us, look for Country Roads instead - we are in the back! Parking is available on the street and in the Orange public lots in the old town area, including the free structure on Lemon and Chapman.
