Music In Warm Valley ~ JP and the OK Rhythm Boys

Don't miss the inaugural Music in Warm Valley concert! Join JP and the OK Rhythm Boys at the Event Meadow on Saturday, July 18 from 5-7pm for a fine evening of summer music at Warm Valley Farm.

JP and the OK Rhythm Boys is a trio (JP Wittman, Gordon Koenig, and Anita Orne) performing with strings & vocals, mostly. Music ranges across many genres & decades (swing, hoedown, cowboy tunes, standards, waltzes, originals, and more), focusing on instruments, harmonies and lyrics that will move you to laughter or tears…or both! Expect humor, a serious tune now & again, melancholy, a disdain for mayonnaise and plenty else. An interlude of a relevant story keeps you engaged as they swap instruments & positions on the stage. They entertain with jokes, anecdotes, personality, guitars, fiddle, bass, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, tambourine, saw…and boots…

Warm Valley Farm, located at 7483 Orcas Rd, Orcas WA, is home to Summerhouse Perfume Studio, Barn Swallow Vintage, and Warm Valley Farm Stand. The Shops will be open until the music starts, come early to enjoy the farm’s offerings.

Admission is by donation to the band. Bring your blanket or chair and a picnic. Some picnic provisions and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase - it'll be a wonderful, tuneful, fun, delicious party! Parking is in the lot to the right coming up the driveway. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.

Thank you!!! We had such a wonderful Grand Re-opening weekend. Big shoutout and thanks to all our collaborators and contributors who helped and supported us in the lead up and during our event.

The Orcas Island Garden Club was amazing, as were all the attendees and participants. We are full of gratitude. Thank you.

Barn Swallow Vintage and Summerhouse Perfume Studio will be open again at Warm Valley Farm this Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm, and down at the Landing at the Boardwalk collective 10 to 5 daily except for Tuesdays.

We are open today at 11 AM to 5 pm for the second day of the Orcas Island Garden Tour. I finally managed to take some pictures at the end of our first day. We are proud to be carrying Lum farm cheese, Orcas Bakery crackers, and all kinds of goodies for picnic provisions. That’s in addition to our regular and wonderful veggies and meats from the farm. We look forward to seeing you all! Our new hours at the farm are Thursday through Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM. And down at the Boardwalk collective from 10 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday.

We are re-opening the Farm Stand, Barn Swallow Vintage, and featuring Summerhouse Perfume Studio June 27th! We will also be on the Orcas Island Garden Tour that weekend.

The purpose of the Orcas Island Garden Club is to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening, to cooperate in the protection and conservation of nature, and to assist in the beautification of the community. Join us at our meetings every 3rd Wednesday!
