Thought we’d share a little “inside baseball” piece about Marvel’s new Editor in Chief, Stephen Wacker. Like a lot of what I heard in this story.

- Variants are ok but just less of them

- Clearly labeling cover A, B, C etc

- Not soliciting issue #2 before we see sales of #1

- Treating creators better

-MCU springs from comics not the other way around.

This all sounds promising.

Stephen Wacker addressed Marvel’s biggest criticisms at NYCC, outlining plans for fewer comics, a renewed focus on creators, less MCU influence, and more.
