So, one of my vendors had a good sale so I stocked up on a couple of favorite scents. Of course, I had to look over ALL of the fragrances, just to "be safe", lol. A new one popped up that I didn't recognize, but it was the name that caught my eye, a childhood favorite song. Well, it arrived today, and, out of bottle, it smells so good (but familiar, so it night be a dupe). I'm kinda bummed we gotta wait a year before I present it. Something to look forward to!

Like the moments after a forest rain. So, I took a little hiatus, went camping, which entailed a day of snow and a dog that got bored, so we came home early. I was actually having a lovely time. My ankle still hurts, so that has slowed me down a bit also.

Anyway, here is what l made this week:

I never pour this early. I have all summer! And then I thought, why not, I can squeeze it in between throwing the ball for the little tyrant in the first pic and other chores, errands, appointments, and fun (camping in a week, woot woot). And then that will take some of the pressure off my already filling up summer schedule.

Also, these jars are new to me this year, so I wanted to get acquainted. Same volume as my previous selection, just more cylindrical. And Iā€™m keeping the wood lids instead of swapping for metal to keep costs down. Otherwise Iā€™d have to raise the price this year.

Iā€™ve only poured 17 because I had wax left in the melter from last season. The husband has to drag the 55 pound boxes in for me, and I keep forgetting to ask šŸ¤£.

Sneak peek!

This icky weather is the perfect time to do prep. I pour when the weather is nicer, but still have plenty of free time for summer fun if I do what I can now. Prep includes cleaning (the outside), decorating, cleaning (the inside), labeling, and wicking. Thereā€™s a lot more steps, but at this point, the ā€œhard workā€ is done.
