At Simply Whitetail's we are all about real world tactics for the everyday hunter. We don't lease property or travel the continent paying an outfitter to do all the work. The majority of our hunting is done on public or permission granted property in wooded areas less than 40 acres. We have found that there is far less information available to hunters faced with the same challenges as us in regard to hunting single stand areas or improving whitetail habitat on a much smaller scale. When we first started to explore the idea of creating some type of instruction based website it was amazing how it forced us to really evaluate our own hunting techniques. Taking a hard look at our own beliefs and strategies really forced us to become better bowhunters and regardless of weather or not "Simply Whitetail's" is a success we know it will help us to continue to improve as hunters. What we wanted to offer was a more instruction based website were more in depth tactics and strategies could be presented in a manner that could help everyday hunters find increased success. Granted we love to watch many of the extremely entertaining bowhunting shows available. However, few if any provide reel world information. The reality is that it is extremely difficult to have a successful television show unless you are leapfrogging around the country filling multiple tags. For us it’s not about the kill it’s about the process. By not focusing on the filming aspect of bowhunting we are not limited by what is the end result of many months of preparation. Many times more can be learned from sticking it out in search of that buck of a lifetime even if you don't fill your tag. We don't think we are better than anyone else. It’s all about putting in your time and having a game plan. This web site is all about forcing ourselves to be better bowhunters and promoting the products we use because they work. We will cover every aspect of bowhunting from small scale land management to field care of your trophy once it hits the ground.
