back to school means a lot of things — new supplies, new routines, new backpacks. but for us, it’s also a chance to think about what’s going on the bookshelf.
these are the stories we want kids reading and re-reading: Palestine taught through family, memory, food, folktales, and love. some are gentle. some carry more weight than they let on. all of them plant something that lasts long after the school year ends.
