A new month is on the horizon and with it are several fun events with Orlando YIMBY!

Join us at Lobos Coffee Roasters for the next meeting of the Urbanauts Book Club on April 6 at 11am. We'll continue and close out our discussion inspired by "Strong Towns: A Bottom-Up Approach to Rebuild American Prosperity". It's the most welcoming book club ever, and you should join even if you didn't read the book. Thanks to our partners at Bike/Walk Central Florida and Zeppelin Books!

Then, come out to Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company on April 9 at 7pm for our April social. Do you follow our socials and want to meet the neighbors behind the name? Looking for new friends that share your values? Want to learn how to participate in collective action toward more attainable, sustainable housing and transit? YIMBY is for you!

Hi friends,
As some of you may know, we were working on moving Zeppelin to a new space. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Zeppelin Books is currently untethered without a home. We are planning on transitioning to doing pop-ups as we look for a new space. We are so grateful to the community for your support and for sharing your words with us!

Keep your eyes peeled on our socials for updates as they come. In the meantime, you can continue supporting us through Bookshop.org and Libro.fm.

Nothing says Christmas like…horror/thriller? 🕸️

Holiday gift guide is back 🎁

📖 Happiness Falls - Angie Kim
“We didn’t call the police right away.” Those are the electric first words of this extraordinary novel about a biracial Korean American family in Virginia whose lives are upended when their beloved father and husband goes missing.

📖 The Militia House - John Milas
Meticulously plotted and viscerally immediate in its telling, The Militia House is a gripping and brilliant exploration of the unceasing horrors of war that’s no more easily shaken than the militia house itself.

📖 Out There Screaming - edited by Jordan Peele
Featuring an introduction by Peele and an all-star roster of beloved writers and new voices, Out There Screaming is a master class in horror, and—like his spine-chilling films—its stories prey on everything we think we know about our world . . . and redefine what it means to be afraid.

📖 Mrs. Plansky’s Revenge - Spencer Quinn
By morning, Mrs. Plansky has lost everything. Law enforcement announces that Loretta's life savings have vanished, and that it’s hopeless to find the scammers behind the heist. First humiliated, then furious, Loretta Plansky refuses to be just another victim.

Under the Mistletoe 🌿💕
Books for the Romance Lover

📖 With Love, From Cold World - Alicia Thompson

Lauren Fox is the bookkeeper for Cold World, a tourist destination that's always a winter wonderland despite being located in humid Orlando, Florida. She has a to-do list a mile long and falling for her coworker isn't on it—yet somehow he’s become her top priority.

📖 Mortal Follies - Alexis Hall
A young noblewoman must pair up with an alleged witch to ward off a curse in this irresistible sapphic romance.

📖 Kiss the Girl - Zoraida Cordova
A reimagining of the Little Mermaid. Ariel del Mar is one of the most famous singers in the world. She and her sisters—together, known as the band Siren Seven—have been a pop culture phenomenon since they were kids. On stage, wearing her iconic red wig and sequined costumes, staring out at a sea of fans, is where she shines. Anyone would think she’s the girl who has everything.
