Eco-Logical Lures has finally arrived with premium-grade bioplastic fishing lures. Our formula is made up of all natural ingredients and is 100% biodegradable!

Our goal is to completely take plastic out of the fishing lures for good.

We’ve been holding onto some big news, and we’re so excited that we can finally share it!

Eco-Logical Lures has been selected to participate in the Founder Residency at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University in Portland, Maine.

After a very competitive application process, we’re honored to join a community of innovative founders working to build and grow meaningful companies.

This fall, our cofounder Victor LaRegina will relocate to Portland to work full time on Eco-Logical Lures alongside an incredible community of founders, mentors, researchers, and industry partners.

Our mission is simple: to give anglers a high performing, biodegradable alternative to conventional plastic soft baits, helping protect the waters and fisheries we love without sacrificing the fishing experience.

The Founder Residency will give us the mentorship, resources, and community to keep moving Eco-Logical Lures forward as we work toward bringing better biodegradable fishing lures to anglers everywhere.

This is a huge next step for Eco-Logical Lures, and we’re incredibly grateful to the Roux Institute for believing we are a good fit for their program, as well as everyone who has supported our mission, tested our lures, shared feedback, and believed in us along the way.

We cannot wait to share what comes next. 🎣🌊🌱

Hey everyone!

Sorry we haven’t posted in a while. Life outside the business got pretty busy for us in 2023. However, we are still here and very excited about 2024!

We just wanted to make a post so you all know we are still at it and to outline some of the exciting details we are looking forward to this year 🤩

1. We are bringing a chemist on to our team to help us optimize our formula. Although we believe we have a very good product, there are still some things we know can be better.

2. We will then be looking towards mass production with the new formula and getting into some local bait shops here in western NY this year.

3. After getting some experience mass producing and selling in local bait shops, we will be attending iCast again down in Florida in 2025 or 2026. Only this time we will be attending as exhibitors. This will be huge for us because we won’t be selling by the package there, we will be signing contracts with well established companies to sell massive amounts of our eco-friendly fishing lures around the world!

There is more, but these are the bigger points of interest for us right now.

We want to thank everyone for being patient with us. It’s not easy building a business from the ground up with a limited amount of capital, but we are committed to keep pushing, no matter how small those steps may be.

We wish everyone a blessed and fruitful 2024 and we look forward to establishing our brand as the most productive eco-friendly fishing lures in the world!
